^Thanks for sharing your opinion, WonderNeverOz! I'm glad you liked it.

By the way, someone has uploaded the ABC TV special about the making of the film to Youtube!

Here's where the new snippets to some of the songs are located in the special:

I saw it last night and lets just say I was smiling the entire time when I was watching it. It's a magical movie that's worthy to be a sequel to the original movie.

I'm so glad you liked it. I know eight people who have already seen it too and seven of them absolutely loved it.

Luke Bonanno from this site has seen it too and he apparently loved it:

I'm 100% not shocked. This is the company that delieberaly closed down one of the Disney Jr animation production houses. Why would they sabotage a company that literally holds no threat to them? It makes no sense whatsoever.

On a lovely note, (Underneath the) Lovely London Sky is beyond beautiful and A Cover is Not the Book reminds me so much of Super....

It's of course just my speculation, but my thought about how the other animation companies have been treated was that maybe Disney wants them to do Disney's work for this one project, ya know, use their labor, then squash the competition so those studios can't be competitors. If other film studios see the work Duncan Studios did on MPR, they may want to hire them for their own film, and then Disney has competition...?

I had a couple Fandango codes to use, so I bought my MPR tickets last night- I'm so excited (Saturday 12/22, here we come!)

It's funny because the Hollywood Foreign Press Association didn't nominate any songs from 'Mary Poppins' either. In fact, 'Mary Poppins' and 'Mary Poppins Returns' were nominated in the same categories! Only four Golden Globe nominations.

That is very interesting and I'm glad for the nominations that we got. Plus the soundtrack is coming out tomorrow and I am very excited to hear the songs.

So funny! If history repeats itself again, then Emily Blunt will win a Golden Globe for Best Actress -- Musical or Comedy, just like Julie Andrews.

D82, you are AWESOME!! Unfortunately, I think the songs have only been released in countries where it's already December 7th. :(

It's not that surprising. Neither of the songs submitted were particularly good.

LMM nominated for his acting? In this movie? Seriously? Do voters just see his name and vote for him for anything?

Thanks, tsom! Yeah, I suspected that could be the case. But, do you mean the links could not be accessed in some countries? That's a shame. Although in a few hours it'll be released in the rest of the territories too. By the way, I've added the score tracks to my previous post.

That's really curious. I can't believe they didn't nominate any song from Mary Poppins. And I think the songs from Mary Poppins Returns are better than some of the nominated ones. I'm not surprised by their exclusion, though. The Golden Globes have a reputation of choosing the songs by the popularity of their performers rather than by the quality of the songs themselves. Anyway, Disney must be very happy with these nominations. The film was nominated in almost every other category in which it had chances.

They love celebrities. Especially in that category. Fortunately, the correlation between the Golden Globe nominations and the Oscar nominations in that category is terrible. Only 'Shallow' and 'All the Stars' are safe, in my opinion. And 'Shallow' will win the Oscar.

That's true.

I agree.

Maybe they are taking into account too his abilities to sing and dance. Also, we haven't seen the movie yet. I admit that when I first watched the trailer I thought he was overacting a lot, but after watching more footage of him I don't find his acting so bad, so maybe he's better in the film than it seems.

Your precious Richard Sherman loves them.

God, you're so biased. I hope you're still making the most out of 'The Nutcracker and the Four Realms'.

You're welcome! :-) Just a few more hours to go until the soundtrack is available in all territories! Thanks for alerting us, though!

I'm biased because I don't share your opinion? So, if I loved the songs then I would be objective? That's such an irrational way of thinking.

I don't care what Richard thinks of the songs. That bares no weight on my opinion. By the way, we don't know what he really thinks of them. We only have accounts from the songwriters who aren't exactly a reliable source. But even if he didn't like them, there's no way he'd ever tell the public. He's too classy and kind-hearted for that.

I honestly don't understand why the opinion of someone about something as subjective as art bothers you to the point you feel compelled to be rude and condescending to them. Perhaps it's time you do some introspection and analyze the reasons why you behave the way that you do.

You can hear his opinion right here (09:47): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qtbu-DSdRw8

And please, everyone knows you feel like you have to hate these songs because Richard didn't write them. You've made it clear many times.
