My list of 50 songs

Post by cysk »

Hi,

I we should do this every year...

I had posted earlier songs that had been left out. The songs one like depends on the movies you saw and what music was popular when you were (are) young. That being said (I'll be 40 this year), I haven't seen many recent Disney pics while waiting for my kids to grow up (e.g. Mulan, Tarzan, Hunchback, Aladdin - OK saw this 10 years ago, Hercules, Brother Bear). I don't have time to make comments - I'm on call tonight... I am sort of a contrarian - I like songs not always popular or listed by others.

The other problem is that it's not just the song you like but often how it appears in the movie... Here's my list for now:

1. "Why Should I Worry?" (Oliver & Company)
2. "Once Upon a Time in New York City" (Oliver & Company)
3. "Beauty and the Beast" (Beauty and the Beast)
4. "A Whole New World" (Aladdin)
5. "Be Our Guest" (Beauty and the Beast)
6. "I Wanna Be Like You" (The Jungle Book)
7. "Reflection" (Mulan)
8. "Winnie the Pooh" (The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh)
9. "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah" (Song of the South)
10. "When You Wish Upon A Star" (Pinocchio)
11. "Let's Go Fly a Kite" (Mary Poppins)
12. "Chim-Chim-Cheree" (Mary Poppins)
13. "A Spoonful of Sugar" (Mary Poppins)
14. "Feed the Birds" (Mary Poppins)
15. "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" (Mary Poppins)
16. "Something There" (Beauty and the Beast)
17. "I Won't Say (I'm in Love)" (Hercules)
18. "Gaston" (Beauty and the Beast)

Welcome to the newbies!

Unfortunately, your lists are a little off... you had to pick from the 129 nominees in the very first post in this thread. We've already done the nominating process. You might wanna quickly fix some of these before 11:59! :D
