Here are all the sequels Pixar has made so far in order of release:

- Toy Story 2 (1999)
- Toy Story 3 (2010)
- Cars 2 (2011)
- Monsters University (2013)
- Finding Dory (2016)
- Cars 3 (2017)
- Incredibles 2 (2018)
- Toy Story 4 (2019)

How would you rank them?

Never thought to try to rank them, but here goes.

Toys Story 2. Easy choice as my number one, its my fav movie of all time anyway.
toy story 3 took forever to finally get it, and luckily it was not by circle 7, but pixar themselves. Had a bit too many characters in it imo, but overall I loved it.
Toy story 4, while I have mixed feeling about somet things (splitting woody up from the group, having woody be ok with not having an owner, it was still done with a lot of heart.

Incredibles 2: mostly what I wanted. I'll admit its villain was lacking. and I did want to see the kids grow a bit this time, but it was a solid sequel.

Monsters university. good movie but I didn't like how it seemed to go against how things were explained before, regarding when mike and sully met, and the whole abdominal snowman thing bugged me too. the first movie should have been the first time they met. I actually wish the end credits stuff happened in the movie, seemed like there was a good story in there to tell.

finding dory. it was...ok. but I absolutely hate how they killed the whale speak joke for me. it was hilarious, one time. trying to repeat the joke and expand on it was cringey. It also felt a lot less plausible somehow, even knowing its just a movie where we're supposed to expect a certain amount of absurdity, I didn't like how the fish were so mobile near the end of the movie. And I'm not sure dory worked as a lead. Though she did work better than mater in Cars 2.

Cars 3 was the apology for cars 2. It was only somewhat passable, but they did the best they could with the lacking franchise I guess.

cars 2 is dead last. easily their worst sequel, and movie, period.

It's surprising me how much I don't care for these. I guess the only one I really like is Incredibles 2. The Toy Story films are fine, but Toy Story isn't really my thing.

1. Incredibles 2
2. Toy Story 4
3. Toy Story 2
4. Toy Story 3 (I don't really care for this one and I honestly don't understand why it's praised so much).
5. Finding Dory
6. Monsters University

I haven't watched the Cars sequels since I couldn't stand the first one.

1) Incredibles 2
2) Toy Story 2
3) Toy Story 3
4) Finding Dory
5) Toy Story 4
6) Monsters University

Unlike the Disney sequels which either I don't care for or despise most of them, for the Pixar sequels I pretty much love all of them, so ranking these films was pretty difficult for me. Toy Story 4 only ranks as low as it is because I love Jessie and she's definitely more prominent in 2 and 3. I don't get all the hate for MU which I really liked as a prequel.

I didn't bother with the Cars sequels either, especially since it took me a whole decade to finally get around and watch the first Cars in full.

Of the ones I've seen:

1. Toy Story 3
2. Toy Story 2
3. Finding Dory
4. Incredibles 2
5. Monsters University

MU is the only one I hate. Incredibles 2 was...fine, but the whole thing came across pointless. Very disappointing since the first is one of the best PIXAR films.

This was more difficult than I thought. Maybe I put Toy Story 4 too high considering I had several problems with that film. But quality wise, I think it's better than the films I've ranked below it and there were things I really liked about it too, so I don't know. I'll leave it like that for now.

I also feel bad for giving the last two spots to the Cars sequels when the first one is one of my favorite Pixar films. I find Cars 2 at least entertaining and I love Mater, but it's true that he probably works better as a sidekick. And Cars 3 was actually quite decent. However, the first time I saw it I liked it much more than when I've watched it again later. Maybe because I didn't expect the "twist" the first time, and now that I know it I find the movie more predictable and the twist easier to guess than I thought. I still think it's not bad for a sequel, as I said.

1. Toy Story 3
2. Toy Story 2
3. Incredibles 2
4. Toy Story 4
5. Monsters University
6. Finding Dory
7. Cars 3
8. Cars 2

I'm obsessed with Bonnie's toys, so that's why TS3 and TS4 are above TS2 for me (but I do love that movie). Since TS4 came out, I don't think I've ranked the films, so I don't think I had thought previously where that ranks for me... But I think sitting behind Monsters University is a good spot for it. Bonnie's toys are in it, but not quite as much as I would like (but OMG Buttercup stole the show!).
