Re: Jungle Book, Freaky Friday, Father of the Bride on stage

Are they making it a TV show instead of continuing the stage show? I wonder if the TV show will use most of the stage musical's songs...

They're adapting it into a TV movie, not a series. Yes, it will include songs from the stage show.

I'm so excited for this to come out. I just ordered the book and the other two movies that already exist for my daughter. The preview looks familiar LOL, but I'm really glad that they're giving this a new take.

So, anyone watched the movie? I thought it was really cute. I was actually quite surprised by its quality, it was definitely much more 'polished' and neatly done than other Disney Channel movies. The cast was really good, and I loved the diversity. It was refreshing to see so many new faces instead of regular Disney Channel's celebrities. The songs were pretty good. Like, the movie wasn't amazing or anything, but it was so much better than I expected. I can see myself watching this one again in the future, if it will be on tv or something.
