Interesting that Cinderella's dress actually looks white in the concept art even if her hair is still bleach blonde.

OK, thanks. I knew it had to be in that picture, but I didn't know what was happening in it.

Thanks for the goodies, D82! I had a tough day today and yesterday, so I needed this pick-me-up. I am SO happy we finally have Felix/Calhoun. But, I am beyond shocked that they would allow visitors to take these type of pictures, especially a few of these have spoilers.

1) It makes sense that the Princess scene was the first one being animated and finished. It explains a lot what I saw in the scene. The room wasn't even that laid out like the walls and the floor were only pink and Ariel had her bra and a white skirt down to her knees. But, it looks like everything is still the same.

2) I love how they put up a major spoiler (the picture with Calhoun & Felix with three of Sugar Rush kids) and blur it out as if no one knows who they are. So, do they only end up keeping Taffyta, Swizzle, and Snowanna, I wonder? Or is the picture bigger and this is only a trim down version? I knew they would end up with Taffeta? Felix being on Calhoun's lap is adorable :D

3) I don’t care they said that there’s no bad guy in WiR 2 . I’m now convinced that Yesss is a bad guy. Look at her with her body guards. First, her facial expression is cold. Second, who else had body guards recently in Disney movies? Ernesto de la Cruz, Duke of Weselton, Bellwether, and King Candy...all bad guys.

4) I LOVE LOVE that Ralph and Vanellope get cell phones I had a big feeling that would happen.

Yep, I believe that as well. That's the first thing that jumped out at me while looking at those color script panels. I bet they're pulling another Evelyn Deavor on us. I know the producer said there isn't going to be one in the film but it's not the first time filmmakers have lied during press to mislead the audience. The Internet is Yesss' "kingdom" and somehow Ralph and Vanellope threatened her power and influence and so she turned on them. That's my theory.

^Plus, they said there is not a MAIN bad guy, like Mother Gothel and Facilier. If the panel is indeed the villain reveal, man they need to carefully pick out the pictures the next time or have tighter photography rules. Bc sheesh, they gave out a few things today by accident. Next thing they’ll know, the whole movie will be ruined for the public a la Frozen

No problem! :) I'm glad it cheered you up.

What you both said about the villain makes a lot of sense. Now I also think it's that character.

If the spoilers turn out to be true I hope enough time is given to really develop the villain. Past Pixar and Disney films have really dropped the ball on this by not revealing the villain until the end, leaving little to no time to really spend with them.

To me, it doesn't make sense that Yesss might be the villain for the simple reason that she is a black woman.
I can't imagine Disney dares to make her the "bad guy" in the actual political climate then.
Personnally, I really hope she's not a villain. I love her design and prefer her to be a new addition to the Disney heroines.
Note aside : I saw the presentation at Annecy in last June, and they were exciting to show her at the beginning with an animation walk cycle with 5 or 6 different outfits and haircuts which look amazing!
It was so fast that I can't barely remember how they all looked but one spotted my eye with a short glamorous haircut a bit like Louise Brooks.
Some other of her looks reminded me a bit of singer Janelle Monae with very hyped outfits and glasses.
I am so excited about her character.
I will also add a note regarding this presentation : at the end, we had like a behind the scenes of the Princesses scene, showing Mark Henn drawing, and animating a test of Ariel from that scene, and speaking by webcam with many of the original voices, each in a screen square, so we could see a mosaic of them all interacting at the same time.
I noticed that in the image of Mark Henn, he showed behind him a large screen with shots of each single princess / heroine timeline from their own respective movie including Esmeralda, Meg, Jane and Kida. Sometimes those four were lighted on, sometimes they were lighted off. I won't say they will be featured in the final movie, I guess not, but that was intriguing and I thought they were, at least, considered and not forgotten them...

Although Yess is voiced by a black woman, I don't know if her character would qualify as black in-universe. That's an interesting point though.

Wow, I'm amazed that Disney actually considered using Esmeralda, Meg, Jane, and Kida. I think I would have been more hyped for the scene if it had featured these four forgotten ladies, although they'd probably robbed of their personalities just like the others. I would love if they could feature in a scene where they discuss how they couldn't achieve princess status and aren't treated like celebrities the way the others are. It would be very meta, moreso than what Disney thinks they are being with their actual princess scene.

Taraji P. Henson is the voice of Yesss and she is a black american actress woman.
Also, at the latest Essence festival, from the magazine Essence essentially aimed for African-American women, a standee of Ralph and Vanellope was there, and Yesss standee also.
I can't imagine Disney trying to promote an animated black woman (despite she is blue-lavender in the movie, lol) being a villain at the end, but I can be wrong though I hope not...

Kido!!!! Hello!!! I hope Yasss is not the bad guy either. I’m sick of these last second villains and they could do a much better villain like a virus, a hacker, or yes even a troll. If she is the bad guy, I hope she is a monster a la King Turbug

I thought the same as Prince Kido. Disney wouldn't even dare to make something like that, unless they want to be hounded by every social media journal out there for the rest of their lives. They've never even portrayed POCs as villains when they're against a white character, either.

But on the other hand, if the Fat Purple Dude is the villain, and they force some generic "internet trolls"/MeTooCosbyLasseterWeinstein message, then we might hit a new low of disappointing Disney villains. That design cannot work in a threatening manner at all.

I wonder who that character is and why they're hiding her from us. There's no mention of her anywhere and even the concept art of hers on the walls is pixelated. That's highly suspicious. I wish we had a clearer look to go by.

Kind of looks like Sarah Silverman... So if I were to bet, I'd say it's either:
a) Vanellope's adult princess form
b) Vanellope's mother/relative
c) Vanellope's real-life avatar (think Quora from TRON: Legacy)

How this fits into the movie, if it even does, I can't say.
