I didn't liked the first movie at all, but I will give this one a chance. I saw plenty of movies in my life that were simply terrible yet their sequels were good.

Judith Shekoni has joined the cast of “Maleficent 2.” Shekoni will star as Shrike, a character who befriends the titular anti-hero, Maleficent, who is once again played by Angelina Jolie. Filming is underway at Pinewood Studios in the U.K.

^The logo is not bad, but maybe it isn't the final one. Sometimes the logos they have during production are just provisional.

I enjoyed the first one on its own. It will always pale in comparison to the original Sleeping Beauty, but I thought it was one of the finer efforts from the studio. I'm pretty excited for the sequel. as for the logo, I think it's too generic. Maybe it's also because the image itself isn't very clear.

I prefer the other two on this page to this one. I think the second one from the side angle is the best; the character almost looks like an angel (or, well, demon) there.

I always hated the typeface they used for the title, especially on the posters. It looked like something a person would make with WordArt 20 years ago. I prefer the second one shown here.

The three logos revealed so far have wings in them, so I think the final logo is likely to have them too. Personally, I prefer the first one.

The first logo is also the best imo although I don't mind the second one. The last one doesn't work at all for me.

All three logos feel very final fantasy styled. I hope it becomes a trend.

The more I read, the more I feel like this might be actually decent, perhaps moreso than the first one. I don't get the feeling they are making it just because of the success of the first one.

Wow, I wasn't even cognizant of the fact that the film had begun shooting and it's already wrapped up production.

I hope this is a smaller film rather than the usual mantra of how a sequel needs to be BIGGER with MORE EFFECTS therefore its BETTER !!

If it winds up being a CGI battle festival then my interest will certainly wane.

A good, solid and interesting story is what this needs.

Maleficent II may get renamed to Maleficent: Mistress of All Evil. Thank goodness! I hated the previous title and this one just sounds more elegant and grand. I usually prefer a film series to follow the 'title: subtitle' format than just the title with a number or a numeral.
