Now enough time has passed for most people to have seen the ending, they’ll probably feature these dresses more often. Not wanting to spoil anything is likely the main reason they haven’t used them in most of the advertising prior.

Have you clicked on the link? That wasn't Anna's queen dress, but a different one. I thought it was interesting. Maybe we'll get a short with her wearing it.

I did. It's Elsa in her white dress and Anna in her coronation dress, isn't it? :? I re-opened the link and you're right, there is a difference. The color green is the same which is why I must've thought it was the coronation dress, but then she has an overcoat thing. I guess they didn't want her to be wearing a crown next to her sister?

Don't know if anyone mentioned this but in the cover of Agnarr's book there's the famous Ariel silhouette, meaning that what he read was The Little Mermaid.

Was that book featured in the film?

I don't think it has been discussed here before, but it has been widely covered elsewhere online. I can't say I like that Easter egg. It's too meta for my taste and it also implies that Frozen is the "real world" whereas The Little Mermaid is just a story. I wouldn't mind the visual reference like I didn't mind the one in Tangled, but the dialogue referencing the up-and-coming new author ruined it for me.

I noticed on my first viewing, actually. I like that TLM is in the Frozen franchise somewhere. <3

I'm surprised that this reference haven't received more fuzz. Considering how there was so much buzz regarding Frozen's former mashup theory, at least it's something that could give the obsessive fanboys spark yet another conspiracy theory.

Did you like Frozen II, Sotiris?

I just thought it served as a cute little tribute to the creator of "The Snow Queen." It got a knowing chuckle out of me.

It was cute. The short was animated by Trent Correy. He previously directed "Drop" from the Short Circuit series.
Trent Correy: I feel incredibly fortunate that I could spend my last 3 weeks animating in my pajamas, at home and with my favorite little snowman AND in 2D!!! A sincere thanks to my friend Hyrum Osmond for leading this special little project Disney Animation that has brought smiles to people all around the world during this difficult time. Keep smiling, stay healthy, Olaf loves you! Beautiful backgrounds by the one and only James A. Finch!

Q: Did you animate the entire short all by yourself?

Trent Correy: I did! Inbetweens, tie down, ink and paint!
