Hello—I hope you’re all doing well. I was wondering if anyone here remembers the syndicated Wonderful World of Disney that aired frequently on network stations in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Here is a sample of the intro, bumpers, and title card from a syndicated WWOD episode entitled “Adventures with Mickey” to help give a idea of what I’m referencing: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cRMlkREl2g8.

Under this syndicated series, they showed a lot of rare live action titles (the Gallegher serials, Ghost of Cypress Swamp, Treasure of San Bosco Reef, Elfego Baca, etc) and animated compilation episodes.

It was nice when Disney used to air their classic, rare material on regular television so that old and new fans could enjoy it. When the Disney Channel ceased airing classic programming in 2002, it left a big void, and Disney+, at least for me, leaves much to be desired. Does anyone else remember the syndicated 1980s WWoD?

This should be in the Disney Discussion board.
