Re: The Disney Movie Rewards Discussion & Info Thread Vol. 4
So does anyone know how to redeem a cd for points on the website now. I purchased a few Legacy Collection cd's brand new on Amazon, but not from that Emporium store listed on their website. It seems from everything I can find on the website that if you don't purchase the cd's from the Emporium store you get screwed.
I find you pompous, judgemental, and completely self-absorbed.........would you be my friend?

I was able to enter my Frozen, LK and LM cds, its a tricky process but I did get the points. You have to install the cd into your computer's cd player and go to a specific page with a drop down menu where you pick out the cd title. I still need to enter my Pocahontas cd, when I do it Ill let you know here what the process was exactly.

Re: The Disney Movie Rewards Discussion & Info Thread Vol. 4
I remember entering a few months ago for some cds, so I remember what you are describing, but it looks like now they have done away w/ that completely.
Just called DMR customer service and they confirmed you can only get points for cd's now if you purchase via http://www.disneymusicemporium.com. Apparently when you purchase they put the points directly into your account somehow. I told the cast member that I do understand the reasons for directing people directly to the website for purchase but I don't think it's fair if you choose not to purchase there as you might get a better deal at a different website for a brand new purchase.
I wonder how long till you can only get DMR points for movies from purchases made directly off a Disney website.

yep, looks like they changed it now. I couldnt get my Poca cd code. You have to buy it directly from the emporium for the points to count. Pretty crappy of them to do that I think.

Re: The Disney Movie Rewards Discussion & Info Thread Vol. 4
I just got an email from DMR telling me that I'm gonna loose all my points unless I act now. They're acting like my account is inactive. Thing is, I just entered my Inside Out code on November 5th, so it's far from inactive. Has anyone else received an email like this. I have close to 10,000 points that I'm afraid to loose. This is what my email says:

I saw your posts and checked me e-mail and, yep, I got it, too. They must've been hacked or something.

Re: The Disney Movie Rewards Discussion & Info Thread Vol. 4
I was getting ready to post about this as well since I just entered codes for points and redeemed for two movies this month on their site. I hope it is some issue or else i've got over 20000 points to redeem and soon.

Yeah I just got that email too, which is annoying. I like saving my points... but if I HAVE to redeem them for something, I will.
Kind of weird that they're expiring though.

But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

Unfortunately I no longer have a US address I can use.
I have a proposal to make if you are interested.
I'd like to share my 7475 points with you this way. I will send bluray rewards your way and if you are kind enough you could send me the rewards code so I can enjoy the digital copy.
How does that sound?

I got the same e-mail and looking at the Disney Movie Rewards Facebook page, it appears a lot of other people did. I think it might be a glitch in the system that they will probably look into within the next couple of days.

Yeah, I got it, too. If it's not a hiccup, then they better put some cooler Rewards up...
Re: The Disney Movie Rewards Discussion & Info Thread Vol. 4
I just want some more Treasures sets to be put up.
I really hope that this was just a mistake email, and that nothing is changing. But at the same time, they haven't really put up anything special in a while.

Well, I could probably have enough points to cash them in if I could exchange CDs for points still. With that change on top of this, I wonder if they're just going to get rid of the whole thing?
I hope they'll still give out Christmas codes, since I think those would give me just enough to get what I want.

The weird thing is that a lot of people commented on a random post on their Facebook last night about this, asking why DMR sent this email. And so far, they have promptly ignored this.
Huh.
