That video is ancient, it was posted in the paperman thread. They just now put it up on youtube I guess. |

Patrick Osborne wrote: John Kahrs went and asked Lasseter if he could revive Paperman which he had done 5 or 6 versions of story at Pixar before he came down to Disney. Back then, Paperman was going to be a black-and-white, photorealistic, global illuminated film but when John came down to Disney, he was around Glen [Keane] a lot, saw all the drawing, all the history of line and thought it would be cool to bring line into it and make Paperman in a different way. On one hand the thought of a paper man movie sounds great, but if it was going to be photo real I'm glad we got what we did instead. |

Wow! At least Kahrs made the right choice for the film. Admirable that Lasseter agreed to do that, as well as Kahrs pleading to do so. |
