Yeah. They definitely do seem to give away the ending.
But now i'm happy because at least they don't pull a Brother Bear 2 and turn Merida into a bear herself.

Agreed. And I especially love young Merida.
The part with Merida and her mother on their horses reminds me of the opening of Quest for Camelot. Although I have a slight feeling that it will be the ending of the movie.

btw: is merida going to be in the princess lineup? i'm hearing different stories that she will because a) she's a princess and b) pixar will make a lot of money off her and that she won't because she's technically not disney. i'm not hearing anything official from disney and pixar, so I take that she won't?

My friend Brent Dodge met with Merida this morning! Her spot is in soft opening mode so it is still somewhat around the edges, but he was able to talk to her. He asked her how she got along with the other princesses, meets the bear cubs, about taking over Rapunzel's spot and if she would fight Mulan:
