How many Disney DVDs do you have?

In other news I really think the world is trying to tell me I'm not supposed to own WDT or Ducktales on DVD. For the THIRD time my sets have been destroyed. This time by a flood caused by a burst water pipe at a friend's house who I had lent them too.

I may repurchase the Ducktales sets someday but I'm done with Treasures. They're too hard and expensive to replace.

Ah well, thems the breaks.

How were they destroyed the first two times??

In the future, if you must loan stuff to friends (shudder) don't loan as much at one time!

1 Treasure at a time, OR 1 Season set. maybe a couple of non-rare movies at once...

First time they were destroyed in a house fire a little over 2 years ago. Last summer the box holding all my treasures and tv sets went missing during my move. I had just got the insurance money for my stuff an re-bought everything I had lost about 3 weeks ago.

I usually don't lend so much out, but we've been friends for years and I've never had a problem with the way she treats my stuff.

Ah well, there's no sense belly aching over it. It's not like the flood was her fault. She lost way more stuff than I did.

I'm sure you meant HSM2. Did you get it at Wal-Mart? It comes with a store-exclusive bonus disc.* And POTC3 has a BestBuy exclusive bonus disc (which is better than half the bonuses on the regular two-disc set)

Ah, I see. I'd still recommend the BestBuy bonus disc for At World's End. It's a great selection of serious bonus material, much better than the puff pastries of the regular bonus disc. I'm sure it can be bought on its own in stores for like...$5 or so.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean 3" bonus disc was certainly well worth it as most of the Best Buy extra discs are. On Tuesday when I bought my Disney Treasures, my Best Buy still had stacks of bonus discs left, so if you want one call and see if your local Best Buy still has some.

This is an update of my Disney Collection since I last posted in August. I have added 72 titles to my collection. Same as last time, all are counted by title, not by disc, so each number is one release or title. (Ultimate Toy Box = 1). I did include double dips of titles which have had major updates such as the “limited edition” vs. “Platinum Edition” of The Little Mermaid etc.

Since August I have tried to complete my Live-Action collection and have most of them now. Below I have also seperated the titles into more subcategories, so it's easier to deciefer, the Walt Disney titles.

Well, I wish I did have more time to watch movies, but even still, I still watch a lot. I am a film major and often justify my excessive movie watching by saying I am studying my craft.

I also have a hard time sleeping, which is where my love for movies began, when I would spend my late nights watching movies.

Before anyone asks, yes despite all my film watching, I still have a well rounded life. I am a student, I work and travel quite a bit with friends.

I finally added A Bug's Life 2-Disc Collector's Edition. For some reason there was one copy that was marked down from $26 to $19 at the local Wal-Mart, so I picked it up. I thought it would come in as $26 (the other copies were marked $26) at the till but it came in as $19
