Since my last post I posted of my dvds, I have added these to my collection.
<img src="http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r127 ... C00023.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>

The Robin Hood I got from a yard sale for $5. The movie rewards code wasn't even used. :]
I also have more Disney movies that I got for my birthday. But I won't be able to keep them in my collection until my b-day party lol.
So on Dec. 1st I'll edit this and post a new one with all the ones I'll get. :]
Just like a river rushing straight into the sea.... I'm the one thing meant for you, and you for me

When I get my Lilo & Stitch movie score CD in the mail, I'll post a pic of my Lilo & Stitch soundtrack CDs. :)

I didn't take a pic of my Disney and non-Disney DVDs in the DVD case because it's awfully cramped and you mostly see what's in front while many in back are blocked from view. I seperated the Disney ones from the rest and set them up on the dining table for picture takes. My giant MLPs Rarity and Cheerliee lended a hoof to hold them up.

Live Action:

Wow, there's so few of them. In general, my DVD collection has way more animation DVDs than live-action ones.

I still need to buy Castle in the Sky and Howl's Moving Castle again. I gave my copies as gifts to a couple of friends last Christmas to get them hooked on Studio Ghibli.

Those are indeed real My Little Pony toys! Specifically Styling Rarity and Styling Cheerilee, which is why they're so huge. :P

Miramax flubbed up Pokemon Heroes by toning the colors way down. None of the other dubbed Pokemon movies look as awful as that one next to their original. And the full screen thing with the dubs is very annoying (glad the Manaphy movie broke the habit!)

Now that I got my hands on my DVD's, so I updated my movies that I now have in my collection. As I mentioned on previous threads that I posted pics from my VHS library, but I'll focus on DVD's.

Many of these films that are VHS are now on a DVD-R disc. I have movies that are on video taped right off of Toon Disney like "Robin Hood", "Pocahontas", "Sword In the Stone" and some others in my collection, some of them are on VCD like "Dumbo", "Sleeping Beauty" and "Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True". I also have "The Nightmare Before Christmas" that it was originally on VHS, taped right off of the Disney Channel onto a DVD-R. That was a few weeks ago.

A number of Platinum Edition DVD's I have are "Snow White" "Cinderella", "Beauty and the Beast", "Aladdin", "The Little Mermaid", "Lady and the Tramp", "Peter Pan" and "The Jungle Book".

The only Special Edition DVD I have is "Alice in Wonderland".

Last weekend, I went to Best Buy and I found "The Black Cauldron" which was part of the GCC banner, and I got it. This is the same movie I have on VHS, but I was luckily to find this copy in my collection.

I'll go through a lists of movies that I have on VHS where I don't have them on DVD later.

Here are some of the movie that I have on VHS that I don't have on DVD:

1. "Pinocchio"
2. "The Three Caballeros"
3. "Melody Time"
4. "Fun & Fancy Free"
5. "A Goofy Movie"
6. "The Parent Trap (1961)"
7. "The Parent Trap (1998)"
8. "Pooh's Grand Adventure"
9. "The Tigger Movie"
10. "Toy Story 2"
11. "Fantasia"
12. "Fantasia 2000"
13. "Mickey's Magical Christmas"
14. "Mary Poppins"
15. "Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas"
16. "Mulan"
17. "The Hunchback of Norte Dame"
18. "The Moon-Spinners"
19. "Pollyanna"
20. "The Island at the Top of the World"
21. "The Princess Diaries"

Just to name a few that I have on VHS that I don't have on DVD. A few Disney films that are out of print on DVD are "The Three Caballeros", "Melody Time", "Fun & Fancy Free", "Fantasia" and "Pinocchio". "Fantasia" and "Pinocchio" will be on a future Platinum Edition DVD's for 2009, that's going to be about the next two years.

"The Three Caballeros", "Fun & Fancy Free" and "Melody Time", I'm not really sure if they will ever re-release those films on DVD anytime soon, will see. I'm just trying to keep tracking down the lists of my VHS tapes before putting them in the stroage in boxes to make room for DVD's.

"Mary Poppins" will be on ABC Family during the "25 Days of Christmas" as well as "Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas". Both of these films will be in the next few weeks. I will look forward to record it on my DVR and copy it onto a DVD-R disc. I do have "Mary Poppins" on VHS tape in its original late 1980's cover.

"Mickey's Magical Christmas" is the film that I have on VHS, I've seen it once many years ago, but I'm not seeing it again, because I'm getting the DVD of "Classic Cartoon Favorites - Vol. 9: Classic Holiday Stories" featuring "The Small One", "Pluto's Christmas Tree" and "Mickey's Christmas Carol". I have "The Small One" which is the VHS tape that I got at a yard sale a few months ago, because it was part of Walt Disney's "Mini Classics" collection. I guess the "Classic Holiday Stories" DVD is a lot better than "Mickey's Magical Christmas" movie on VHS, because of the direct-to-video movie with the cast of "Mouse of House" show. I've seen a little bit of the show, but I don't watch it anymore, because of the classic Disney shorts is a lot better than the recycled version used on the show. I'll stay away from the show, Toon Disney has that on, but I will not watch it.

Disney Film Collection

Post by ultimatefilmfan »

Here is an update of my Disney collection, including the Disney Treasures I bought today. The Best Buy I went to had plenty of copies of each title.

The pictures will cover only some of my Disney titles as many are spread out into different areas, but below are most of them, under the Walt Disney Pictures banner.
Since I last posted, I have rearranged my Live-action Disney films in chronological order and have made more room on the Entertainment center shelves for Treasures etc.

What would you do differently in arranging? I am always open to suggestions.

These are some things I recently dug out of some boxes, a lot of this stuff I had forgotten I had. In the bags are some of my Collectible Disney pins,
I know I have more in another box. I have thousands of them, I'll have to go through them more closely in the future. I also found some Disney
buttons and badges as well.

Please offer any suggestions in arranging the collection.

Please everyone, keep posting your collections, it's wonderful to see how others display theirs, not matter the size.
