The New, Improved, 'Post a Photo of Your Disney Collection'

Nice collection of DAC's yoda_four. We must have started collection Disney DVDs around the same time because our collection looks almost identical except for a couple of things.

*I don't own Fantasia (or Fantasia 2000) - I am waiting for the Platinum Edition release in 2009 (hopefully).

*I don't own The Emperor's New Groover yet - I am still deciding whether or not I need to own that one.

*... and my DAC's are in the proper theatrical release order. ha ha

and I don't know what I'll do with my now useless Peter Pan SE.

Keep it that way if you screw up one disc, you'll still have the other. Plus, it's a different transfer, so if you ever feel like doing something crazy, hook up two DVD players to one TV, play the SE and the PE simultaneously, and switch between pictures every second.

Yay for slipcovers, down with Chicken Little!

I JUST noticed two other things:

1.The charlie brown box set is in the wrong order of holidays (Great Pumpkin should be first, followed by Thanksgiving, then Christmas)

2.The Muppet Movie should be with the Disney DVDs.

You should post pics of your collection. I looked through the thread and didn't see yours. I picked up the Fantasia Anthology quite a few years ago, but if it were today, I too would just wait for the PE. I'm still wondering whether they will put out Fantasia 2000 as a PE, but we'll see. It'll prob be like what they did with TS and TS2. You should definitely pick up ENG while it's still available. Regardless of the bonus features, the picture quality is amazing (direct digital transfer!), and I still really love the movie. I think it's worthy of owning, unlike Home on the Range or Chicken Little. It's kinda funny that out of all the DACs, I prob won't end up owning the crappy handful from the early 2000's.

Actually... in Canada Thanksgiving is the second Monday in October and therefore comes BEFORE halloween

I think it's worthy of owning, unlike Home on the Range or Chicken Little. It's kinda funny that out of all the DACs, I prob won't end up owning the crappy handful from the early 2000's.

I posted a photo of my Disney collection in the original thread, but that picture is a little bit dated. It really is nearly the same as yours. I can tell you that Fantasia/2000 will not be released as a Platinum Edition, but will most likely be released around the same time as a tie in with the Fantasia: Platinum Edition. My birthday is coming up next week, so I'm sure I will go venturing for The Emperor's New Groove (with a slipcover) shortly after and add it to my growing collection. I am also looking to purchase the 2-disc edition of Brother Bear. Most of the films after 2000 aren't very great, though some of them are decent. I am mostly collecting special edition DACs, so I would probably buy any Special Edition re-release of a DAC with the exception of a couple Disney films I just don't care for (cough "Black Cauldron" cough). I will upload a new picture of my collection soon, probably after I get Jungle Book.

A Goofy Movie, Pocahontas (2 Disc), Lilo & Stitch Special Edition, The little mermaid, Blank Check, But I'm a cheerleader, Donnie Darko, South Park: BLC, Buffy Season 6, Joey Season 1 and the Will and Grace Box are from the UK. The Ellen Seasons and the Ellen Collection are the American Releases (I got them because they're not available in Germany or Britain).
