It's a shame you don't have photoshop as it offers MUCH better blending results and a higher quality DVD covers.

Well, I do have PhotoDeluxe. How different is that?

Here's a doozy of a DVD. It's actually a DVD collection of the first five Disney feature films, Snow White, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo and Bambi. I call it the Fab Five Box Set (AKA the First Disney Masterpieces Box Set). It's kinda like everyone else's Disney Renaissance Box Set and Fab Four Box Set ideas (both of which consist of The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King). Each movie will have four discs each and are based on concepts I have thought up or will think up, save for Fantasia, which will have eight discs and be based on Escapay's concept for Fantasia.

Great! I love it! What do you think of my idea for a five-movie DVD box set? I was considering we work together. You provide Fantasia for the box set and I'll provide the other four. In fact, if you were to look at my more recent posts on the "Ultimate Disney DVD" (click here: http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/vie ... &start=240), you would notice that I have already created the sets for Snow White and Pinocchio. And elsewhere, you provided Fantasia, as I've seen. Now all that's left to do are Dumbo and Bambi. Which one do you think I should do first?

I like the idea, and I'm sure Disney could see it as a viable release if not for the complex scheduling of their DACs. The five are never in print all at the same time!

In-Print Times for the DVDs:
October 1999 to November 2000: Pinocchio
November 2000 to October 2001: Pinocchio, Fantasia
October 2001 to January 2002: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo
January 2002 to January 2004: Fantasia, Dumbo
January 2004 to March 2005: Dumbo
March 2005 to Summer 2005: Dumbo, Bambi
Summer 2005 to June 2006: Bambi
June 2006 to January 2007: Bambi, Dumbo
January 2007 to present (or at least October 2008): Dumbo

Well, I didn't necessarily mean that we MUST work together, just that it would've been nice if we did, since you created the Fantasia set already. As for me working on Fantasia, the truth of the matter is, it will be much more difficult to do, because of all the ground to cover there. But I guess you'd rather be a rival of mine on the creations of original sets than a friend. Well, you cut me deep.

PowerDVD (for the actual screencaps) and lots of trial and error in Photoshop to make it all fit. Some screencaps had to be rescaled, others needed some manual correction (imagine a leaf falling while the background is moving, if left uncorrected you'd have the extended background + 2 leaves)

That is an amazing Hunchback coverart. I'm really quite curious of how you made that. I've been trying to make coverart for DVDs and I have yet to render a good one.
