Re: Upcoming WDAS and Pixar release dates
When Pixar was starting out, they had a deal with Disney to produce a certain number of films for them. When Toy Story 2 was made, it wasn't counted towards this number. So, it seems the streak of original films was so Pixar wouldn't be 'wasting' their time with a sequel. If only such a rule was imp...

Re: Is it me or is Sia mind-numbing???
Well, she wears the wig for a reason: so that people will focus more on her music and singing ability rather than her face. She wants to redirect what people focus on in the music industry--the music. I agree. I'm all for Sia hiding her face so we and the world judges her solely on her music. This ...

Albert, I look forward to your opinions on subsequent home video releases. Whether they're positive or negative, they always are entertaining and informative. Looking forward to October!

Re: Gravity
Just watched it tonight. It was a very well-crafted movie. I felt for Bullock and Clooney's characters. Nothing ever felt forced or out of place. I won't say more because I don't want to spoil it.
Azkaban, Children of Men, and now Gravity: Cuaron is three for three.

Re: The Little Mermaid: Diamond Edition - Fall 2013
Hmm is that a temp version of the clip art, or the real deal? As Ariel looks beyond off model here?! In Jäger-Rose's post above me and the French trilogy cover a few posts back, the added animation frame of Ariel makes it even more obvious how off-model she is. I don't see why Disney can't hire fre...

Re: "Glee" Discussion
Glee is something I will watch because I don't take it seriously anymore. Call it a guilty pleasure. I love Divnity's quote, "Dump all the old characters" Anyways, I'm excited to see what they do next with the old characters. Not expecting anything, I just want to see what they do next. I ...

Don't know if this has been posted - but Randy Newman is back and scoring this prequel. I'm excited. I love the jazzy style he did for the first film!

Re: Chris Sanders talks about what happened with Disney
Lately I've been loving Dreamworks films more because of their variety of film composers. The most recent ones being Silvestri's Crood score and Desplat's Rise of the Guardians. Being a huge fan of musical scores, their variety of composers is an advantage to Pixar always using Giacchino. (Note: I a...

Ah, Super Aurora! I love this drawing! Your line weight is beautiful and the sense of perspective on her mouth is what sells it. If I could just suggest ONE thing (goodness I hate saying bad things!), check the sizes of her eyes. Because her left side is facing us, I think that eye should be a littl...

I don't know what's gotten into WB, but I am glad they're releasing this! :) Was hoping for a digipack to match the first three, but I will take this in any case! Edit: Actually, the latest Tiny Toons and Freakzoid cases are digipacks in a cardboard case that will easily match the other boxes. So, t...
