Re: The Little Mermaid (Live-Action)

Don't forget that there is a VERY energised moaning whining group of people who are VERY vocal about their grievances and hatred. While a vast majority of the world truly doesn't give a rats ass and will simply be oblivious and go into cinema's in DROVES. I'm convinced this movie will be a massive h...

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)

In another interview, she comments on the leaked photos of her in the Snow White dress: I did get paparazzied, and it was terrifying. I was like in the woods, in London, and all of a sudden a guy with a camera pops put, and I was like, ‘What are YOU doing here?’ And I was just chilling with my… I w...

He just announced that sequels to Toy Story, Frozen and Zootopia are in the works. If that's sign of the "creativity" we can expect from Disney in the future then I'm officially done with the studio...

Re: The Little Mermaid (Live-Action)

I think it's just because McCarthy wasn't quite daring enough to be bare-armed or to show her bare back. And since they were going to give her arm coverings, they probably just made the whole thing look like a jacket, since it would be weird to have a dress tied into a jacket and no line between. I...

Re: The Little Mermaid (Live-Action)

The trailer just leaked in REALLY bad quality on Twitter. Small, blurry, filmed from a phone and full of watermarks but we now know what to expect (I fully expect this to be released on Monday now, probably Good Morning America, or maybe a surprise rush release tomorrow, after the leak). A very brie...

Re: The Little Mermaid (Live-Action)

I assume robster's picture is based off the doll from last page? I hope that's not how she really looks, almost like she's wearing a suit / coat....   If so, McCarthy could deliver a Christmas miracle and be on par with Pat Carroll, and it would still be terrible. I have no idea why...

Re: Strange World

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Disney needs to diversify the stories they tell. For the past decade every story can be basically narrowed down to a protagonist who lives in a world that is in danger from an unknown danger and has to go on a quest to figure out what is wrong and save the...

Re: Jodi Benson Addresses LGBTQ Community In New Interview

Oh it probably is. But a lot of it is religious doctrine which is not fit for current times and probably not meant for current times. What is also very frustrating is the rather relentless cherry picking by religious conservatives to condemn, judge and control the lives of for instance LGBT people. ...

Re: Jodi Benson Addresses LGBTQ Community In New Interview

I personally find it.. astonishing, to say the least, that people lead their life following a more than 2000 year old book to the letter, when even last weeks TV guide feels out dated. While The Bible, or other scriptures, might provide valuable life lessons and things to strive for (which common se...

Re: Hocus Pocus 2

Could the "Hello Sailors!" line not be a reference to Bette Midler's Golden Globe winning role in the movie "For The Boys" where she plays a singer who performs for military personnel during the Vietnam war which came out two years before Hocus Pocus?!

Even more evidence that the big reveal is that they are inside an organism. On social media all Disney profiles are posting this combined with the "virus" emoji. The Clades have invaded an organism/human/animal/etc and are thur treated as a hostile virus which the organism is attacking. Th...

I'm still going with my original idea that they are somehow living inside an organism, possibly inside a human being or animal. There are too many visual references to nerve systems, blood cells, oxygen, viruses, etc, etc...

Re: The Little Mermaid (Live-Action)

Downvotes of the trailer have surpassed 2.1 million. 72 million more Trump supporters need to make their voices heard! Who cares about downvotes. I never quite understood the petty, childish need to "downvote" anything. If something is not for you, move on from it and stop whining about i...

It might not be your taste but suggesting Halle Bailey would need auto tune is preposterous! She is a MORE than phenomenal singer. Do not forget that the audio is VERY low quality!

The 30-second teaser opened with the Evil Queen’s iconic question to her magic mirror. Snow W...

Re: Wish (2023)

I hate to keep repeating myself but… yet another “a girl senses a darkness in her kingdom and goes on a quest to try and save her people” storyline. How many times can they keep making the same movie over and over again? The prospect of hand drawn animation is promising but the preview still looks l...
