Re: Sleeping Beauty Discussion

I'm glad we can agree on some things, Duster. I do love Maleficent, too, I don't put her far behind Tremaine, but Tremaine is my favorite after Ursula. I always loved the villain characters, so they're all pretty close together for me.

Re: Petition to re-theme Splash Mountain

I don't know much of anything about the parks, I'm surprised if this is fast? It's felt like forever ago since it was announced the ride was going to be re-themed up to when they finally shut down the old and started on it. My impression is the ride is pretty popular, maybe that's why they're hurryi...

Re: When will Disney release a new original animated movie?

Elio feels too close to release for them to cancel now? Maybe if it had been earlier, I wouldn't doubt it being a possibility since they already failed with sci-fi back with Strange World and Lightyear , so... It's a hard genre for animation, and you know Disney doesn't want to take chances when th...

Why don`t you like Brother Bear?
I always found most of the characters off-putting and the plot heavyhanded. I remember the animation was fairly good though.

Yeah, I was worried since Ariana's haircolor looked a bit off in her new music video, but she looks fine in the trailer.

Re: Finding Nemo 3?

Not for me. Never got into the Finding Nemo movies. I find them rather boring. I didn't like the first either (and I was a child back when it came out, for the record). I actually liked the sequel more, just because Ellen was the only good thing about the first for me and the sequel puts all the sp...

Re: What is the problem with Modern Disney movies having a message compared to the 90s?

Frozen 's main message is that love is an open door, and not to slam the door on a relationship. In other words, you have to open yourself up to the possibility of being hurt by others in order to feel love. Elsa used closing the door (first at the castle and then again, just a different way, durin...

Thank you, Duster. And I agree that a longer time before being added to Disney+ is a good thing in the long run.

Yeah, Glinda, the Scarecrow, and the Town all look great, but they're all nice! I really wish I had got the original Wicked Witch of the West back in the day though. I wonder if the new one might cause some people to sell their old one. :P

That's it! Yeah, I thought it was odd, too, but I guess they do have him holding a flower at least.

TBH, I feel like this place is being hacked and stalked. A lot of new accounts feel like one person with multiple accounts, not real people, but that's just me.

Looks better than expected. It's still sort of odd to me that they split it into two films, but hopefully they'll both end up being as good as this looks.

Re: Cinderella Discussion

I admit I only skimmed this one and the TP&TF one because they looked so much like shots from the films themselves. The father looks a bit like Darren Criss with a mustache. Benja is the one I always thought was handsome.

I think a white outfit with a few teal/purple accents like there would be really pretty. Although it makes me think of Elsa in Frozen II a little bit, too.

I love the picture of Raya and Benja! It's always interesting to see 3D characters in fairly good hand-drawn form like this.

Re: The new Princesses being excluded from the lineup

My personal guess of the popularity of the modern princesses is probably: 1. Elsa 2. Rapunzel 3. Moana 4. Anna 5. Tiana 6. Mirabel 7. Merida 8. Raya I think Asha will slide in above Raya, but below Mirabel and Merida. The music might help it have a little more longevity on Disney+ than Raya did, but...

Re: Rank The Romances From Disney's Dark Age (1970-1988)

1. O'Malley & Duchess 2. Taran & Eilonwy ~ I like them a little more in the book series (Taran is a bit more mature there), but they mostly get it right. 3. Robin Hood & Maid Marian 4. Tito & Georgette 5. Bernard & Bianca 6. Tod & Vixey I always thought O'Malley & Duchess...
