Re: Comparing Home Releases Cover Arts

I really like the cover of Pete's dragon on the France VHS. Give it a little modern update, bright up the colors and it will look so good and cute on a new edition of the movie. :)

Don't forget the Swedish DVD cover of Pete's dragon. In the Swedish dub Pete is called Peter. :)

Re: The new Princesses being excluded from the lineup

I'm a huge fan of Saban's Princess Sissi and what you said is very interesiting. I've saw that there's a collection of novels based on Sissis's life where She's blond and she looks so much like the animated one. I also collect dolls and it's incredible the ammount of models that Giochi Preziosi rel...

She is supposed to be leaning on her canoe oar, but they have removed it from those pictures.

The reboot is the reason we got Red the pirate (The redhead) in the attraction from the beginning. So they could replace Johnny Depp with a new female protagonist. I knew it.

Re: Disney Plus (Streaming Service)

I forgot to mention that they redubbed Arabian Nights in Hebrew when the Platinum Edition came out. It was strange because the original dubbing never had the offensive line and it was out on VHS for more than 10 years prior. Same thing happened in Sweden, and many other countries for the Platinum e...

I think they had cels up until shows like Recess. Earlier seasons of Recess was drawn on cels and then switched to digital during the later seasons.

I guess nothing has changed over the years. The trailers from the 90s also gave away much.

Re: Disney Store Exculsive 17" Princess Dolls

 Let's appreciate how many new characters Disney Store has done in doll form these last 10 years. Talk about an evolution. Around 10 years ago Disney Store started doing Mulan and Pocahontas dolls, and today we have Esmeralda, Megara, Wendy, Alice, Queen of Hearts, Peter Pan, Hook, Drizella, A...

I think the Midnight Masquerade Evil Queen looks to similiar to Narissa from Enchanted. If you changed the name of the Evil Queen doll to Narissa nobody would noticed it wasn't her, honestly.

Re: Raya and the Last Dragon

The fact that Disney's animated movies can now to a large degree be made at home is fascinating. I wonder if that will have any consequences for future productions. Use the positive sides of working home, and eliminate the negative sides. What I'm wondering is if and how they can do test screenings...
