I loved it, and am pleased to read quite a few positive comments about it on this thread. I don't understand the dislike elsewhere. It's Pixar does an action movie, and on that level I think it works superbly. Mater got a little annoying but provided enough laughs and the sheer pace of the movie jus...

Now I like all these movies in varying degress, but I think these are overrated Toy Story 3-come on, it just rehashes the previous two! Beauty And The Beast-beautifully made, but just doesn't quite work for me, can't really describe it Tangled-I found it just a bit dull and lacking in the required m...

I prefer The Black Cauldron. The Sword In The Stone is funnier, but very repetitive and almost commits the cardinal sin of being slightly dull in places to me. The Black Cauldron, whilst not really a classic, is to me far superior in design and execution. The Sword In The Stone looks a little cheap,...

Overall I think Pocahontas is a sadly neglected and dismissed movie. Even Disney don't seem to like it- Pocahontas is hardly ever seen in merchandise etc. I really don't understand why they seem to be embarassed about it. It was still a commercial success [just not a HUGE one], and I think at times ...

I loved Gnomeo And Juliet. Here's a short review. As usually happens with any animated movie these days that isn’t Pixar, Gnomeo and Juliet has had mainly average reviews but the audience I saw it with, full of kids and adults, loved it and rightly so, this is a terrific audience pleaser, terrific f...

Finally got to see Tangled, I wrote a short review. May I say it's purely my opinion and sorry if I offend anyone!! I should have known this would be a disappointment when Disney [well the studio called Disney which doesn’t much resemble the Disney of yesteryear] in their infinite wisdom changed the...

I wasn't too keen on Tron Legacy so the idea of a sequel isn't too exciting to me. I'd almost forgotten, I wrote a review of this on another site a while back, so I'll post it here too- TRON LEGACY Kevin Flynn is the CEO of Encom and the world's best video game developer. One night he simply vanishe...

I would say I'm ALMOST a completist. I have nearly all the Animated Classics and intend to complete my collection of those without a doubt. Am not too bothered about cartoon shorts but may pick up the odd collection if it's really cheap. As for the live action films, I'm a little more selective, mai...

I've only seriously started getting into Disney movies for about a year, so before that I would say I didn't watch them that often, something like one or two a year! At the moment though, I would say I watch one at least every couple of weeks. Two or three at a time if I'm down

I'm not familiar with any of Terry Pratchett's work [though I'm assuming it's like Tolkien but more comedic?], but I'm liking the sound of this very much. Seems like exactly the thing Disney should do. Somewhat different subject matter, but obviously it will incorporate many of the things we love ab...
