Re: NEW DMC EXCLUSIVE: HARDY BOYS: MYSTERY OF THE APPLEGATE

Glad to hear the line is continuing, but this was already released in the Walt Disney Treasures line. It would be more exciting if this were the second season's "Mystery of the Ghost Farm".

According to Disney's publicity, the Blu Ray is the 140 minute cut of the film. No word on bonus features yet.

Re: disney time show

These specials are from the UK. Every year at Christmas they would air an hour long compilation special hosted by a new guest (Tommy Steele, Maurice Chevalier, Hayley Mills, etc). They would usually host segments between clips and cartoons at the studio, around the park (often a sodium nitrate speci...

Re: Live-Action Widescreen and Restored on itunes

Is there a way to burn blu rays yet? I would happily pay someone for their time and expenses in downloading and burning a handful of these titles for those of us that like to watch movies on our television ;)

Re: I need help trying to find this rare Mexican film...

Wow! Thanks Albert for all the searching. I won't give up hope :) It really is a beautiful film, and I may one day find it on 16mm or 35mm for us yet. Until then, at least we have the YouTube upload. It looks like it is from an airing on the Mexican classic movie channel "de Pelicula".

I need help trying to find this rare Mexican film...

I have been searching the internet far and wide for a rare Mexican film from the 1950s called "Amor En 4 Tiempos". I have found a non-subtitled version on YouTube, but I am looking for a DVD, VHS, laserdisc or blu ray version (preferably with English subtitles). I'm hoping someone on here ...

Re: Mickey's Christmas Carol/A Very Merry Pooh Year Blu-ray

I'm hoping they keep it in its original theatrical aspect ratio. I'd love to see several bonus features added including the making of television special mentioned above, but also the ad campaign. Just the trailer evokes warmth and nostalgia. And why not sit Burny Mattinson down for an interview or a...

Annette Funicello in a new animated short!

I came across this today and thought some of you all would appreciate this. Kevin Kidney (half of the team behind the Soundsational Parade at Disneyland), designed an animated character of Annette from The Golden Horseshoe Revue and it was animated much like the opening title sequence from "The...

Unfortunately, no. I think these books were prepared before that film came out. However, there are still so many songs which haven't been released. We can only hope for a third volume with: The deleted song from Enchanted: The full score of deleted songs from 'Sweatin Bullets' (Home on the Range) Th...

Do those books feature any of the deleted songs from The Little Mermaid or from Beauty and the Beast that have never been released? We know of one from Beauty and the Beast (Invention Convention)... No. Starting with the 1980s, Volume II includes the following: The Black Cauldron: Fflewddur's Song ...

I think I should really check out those books! Unfortunately, they're out of print. They were limited to 1000 copies for each volume. I belive you can still order them directly from the publisher. I sent away this form and was able to get both copies of the books: http://www.cartoonbrew.com/wp-cont...

I think there were a bunch of deleted songs for that film as well. But then again, Disney doesn't really care about that film. I would LOVE a Lost Chords for The Sword in the Stone ! omg Sucks they don't give a crap about it except for TV filler. :x Did they release a CD or even a cassette for the ...

I think you're refering to a documetnary called "Fantasia: The Creation of a Disney Classic". It is an hour long documentary that aired on The Disney Channel as a special in 1990. I believe it was issued on VHS and Laserdisc as a supplement in the Deluxe Commemorative Edition: http://www.a...

I'm not sure I get your point. No one is saying that a modern Disney film can't feel like Disney. Several people have simply commented that THIS film doesn't feel like Disney.

Eh, aren't the first five films including Snow White among the most acclaimed animated movies of all time. I am puzzled that you would consider it to be a 'struggling stage'. Unless you mean the package films. Or are we judging the films by box-office success only since Pinocchio, Fantasia and Dumb...

So, let me get this straight: First they buy Marvel Then they buy LucasFilm Now they want to buy Hasbro? What's next; Parker Brothers? CBS? Actually this isn't a new trend. Since Frank Wells died in 1994, Eisner started an age old business tactic of buying companies and reorganizing them (and in so...

I see both points, but the movie is still very good, and Disneyfella, I think you're wrong. The movie did not preach it's heart out, but it showed in almost every scene(in context of course) and the humor-potty humor aside-was really well done and so was the storytelling. I do see it not being rega...

The only Disney film I would give a 5/5 to is Pinocchio and maybe Bambi , but different viewers, different outlooks, I guess. I'm with you Divinity. I know I'm in a minority here, but Wreck It Ralph is one of the most disposable Disney animated films I've seen. Despite what I'm hearing from other p...

Unfortuantely, I've got to offer a bit of a negative review. I found the film to be a mish-mash with poor story and no heart. I liked the art direction and felt like the game character cameos were gimmicky. Everything about this film screams 'test audience'. I really find it hard to find anything &q...
