Re: Disney Castle Collection

Lol where to begin, the main tower and the color is totally off, the one that was supposed to open in Tokyo Disneyland is more accurate, anyway hopefully they plan to change it but I’m guessing because of the pin set frame you can already tell they stuck to the book version. http://www.dlifestylers...

Re: Disney Castle Collection

I was lucky enough to get the puzzle before it sold out. I’ve finished most of it already, this really is the year of jigsaw puzzles. I noticed that they pretty much just took the art found in some books that have been released previously to show you what castles look like from the inside, and unfor...

Re: Disney Plus (Streaming Service)

Just watched Aladdin and B&TB on Disney+ in 4K, I think the format really suits hand drawn animation. I really hope they decide to upgrade some other classics, I know Mulan was on the way this year. Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe btw. <3

Re: Disney Plus (Streaming Service)

https://help.disneyplus.com/csp Using this link, you can request films for the service that haven't been added yet. Anastasia and the Aladdin and Tarzan TV shows have been at the top of my list. Also the Black Cauldron in 4K, who would have guessed ! Yeah it really shocked me that two of Disney's &...

Re: Live-Action Aladdin in Development: Thoughts?

I'll think about it lol, only if you get to audition as one of Ariel's sisters (if you still have non-red hair, since we don't want to confuse the audience :) ) :tlm: Lol. It's no longer red. But I'm pretty darn opposed to these remakes (curious about them, but opposed), so I don't know that I'd wa...

Re: What Disney character are you most like and why?

Wow it's crazy seeing your old posts, and now that I do I would have to change my answer a bit, I feel like I'm kind of a mix from the Beast and Belle, I know it sounds contradictory but it's just so true. I just find that I always relate to unconventional characters. rotfl Also (I've been told many...

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)

I know they're probably not gonna do it, but I kind of wish they would just remake the actual Sleeping Beauty fairytale or Alice in Wonderland, I honestly don't like when the movie changes the source material to that extent. Disney, make it stop.

Re: Live-Action Aladdin in Development: Thoughts?

What ?!! I need to audition since they're here in the UAE ! (kidding, I can't sing even if my life depended on it lmao)

I'm really glad they are taking the initiative to represent people from different ethnic groups.

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)

I LOVE Dark Shadows, I actually think it's up there with Corpse Bride, Sleepy Hollow, and ofcourse TNBC in Tim Burton (Directed/Produced) Movies. Goes to show you how you should always take reviews with a grain of salt. I'm actually hoping Tim Burton would direct this, but I guess it would depend on...

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

I think the "Final chapter begins" is only in relation to Johnny Depp's character. Knowing Disney, they would probably reboot the whole franchise with a whole new set of characters.

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)

I'd rather someone young for the Queen. She's not that old in Disney and she's supposed to be a contender for the fairest one of all. Charlize Theron would work, but I doubt Disney will use her. I'd prefer her to have dark hair so I'd love someone like Eva Green or Janet Montgomery who plays the ma...

Re: Live-Action Aladdin in Development: Thoughts?

I'm of Middle Eastern descent, and I'm in no way offended about the choice, he could definitely make a good Aladdin (provided he can sing if this is gonna end up as a musical), physically I always thought Toby Sebastian who plays Trystane Martell in Game of Thrones would eventually be cast as Aladdi...

Re: What are you reading/have you just read? Vol. 2

East of Eden by John Steinbeck, This book is amazing in so many levels, there's a lot of metaphorical philosophy and deep meaning to it, but what drew me to it the most was how human the characters were. (especially Adam Trask's life, which parallels my own circumstances in many ways) This book jus...

Re: Peter Pan (Live-Action)

I'm not surprised at all. I'm just pissed it's not The Little Mermaid already, darn it all. I'm excited for the non-Disney version of the Little Mermaid, at first Sofia Copolla was gonna direct it (who is one of my favorite directors thanks to "Lost in Translation") but dropped out....
