Unbelievable that this little film that could, crossed the rare billion dollar mark. Considering its competition, that makes it more remarkable.
And poor Batman and Superman, 2 of the most iconic characters in pop culture, to be outdone by a fox and rabbit at the box office.

Re: ABC getting new Muppets series
That sucks, but at the same time, not surprising. And certainly not a good sign when the season ended early, as if the network was trying to dump the show. It took a few episodes to get used to the new format, but I grew to really like it. And hoped the Muppets would remain in the public eye for som...

Re: Zootopia
Who knew that Zootopia would do this well? I originally thought it would struggle, having to go against the most-anticipated movie of the year.
I hope to see it sometime next week.

Re: What shows are on your fall watching schedule?...discuss
I am definitely liking "American Crime Story: The People v. OJ Simpson". I can remember where I was, when the Bronco chase happened, and sort of, when the verdict happened.
While hard to watch at times, as I think Simpson is a rotten human being, the cast definitely make it watchable.

Re: Hand-Drawn Animation Dead at Disney
Remind me again why I should still give the Disney studio and their CG movies praise when this is what's going on behind-the-scenes? If you don't want to, you don't have to. Why not just ignore them, and move on to things that you do enjoy? Life is too short to worry about things that you don't lik...

"Bring me Chopper backup!" I used to have every episode of the original series on VHS. I thought the theme of the 1st season was kickass and awesome, and thought the 2nd season theme was a letdown. Probably my favorite episode was Katastrophe, when the main villains, Dark Kat, Dr. Viper, a...

Re: What's New at DisneyLand?
Just watching the Paint the Night parade on YouTube, it looked awesome, and served as a somewhat good sequel to the Main Street Electrical Parade. I do find it odd that there were no floats or appearances of characters from Wreck-It-Ralph, though the song from that film, is used throughout the parad...

Re: Magic of Disney Animation to close. Rumor One Man's Drea
So that means Animation Academy has shut down for good? That really sucks! This was the better one than the one at DisneyQuest. I did like going through One Man's Dream, as I do appreciate the history of Disney. Plus it does provide some much needed relief from the heat. Not to mention, time to kill...

Re: Would the Disney princesses even get along?
I have my own little interpretation of that that I've played around with in my imagination, and it goes something like this: The classic 2D princesses would all be self-aware that the 3D ones threaten their right to exist, and so they engage in a war for survival by fighting their CG enemies that w...

Re: Cartoon Network Today
The only times I watch Cartoon Network, are usually repeats of the FOX cartoons, like Bob's Burgers and Futurama. In terms of current shows, it's just the "Mike Tyson Mysteries", which is kind of fun to watch, even if it is a clone of Scooby Doo and all those subsequent knockoffs that came...

It's not just you! I also don't tip when it's carryout. After all, I am the one who is getting the food, and using some gas to get it.
I always choose carryout over delivery.

This film will only have 3 weeks to most all of its money at the box office. Either the Revival Era will continue on, if this turns out to be really good. Or come to a crashing halt, if sucks major balls. I am almost hoping for a "Robin Hood" type opening, except that it's the opening a fe...

Not sure if I will go see "Inside Out" in theaters, but it would be the only movie I would be interested of this month.
It looks like it was adapted from a Miller-Boyett sitcom.

Re: Harry Shearer leaves The Simpsons
"The Simpsons" is sticking around for at least 2 more seasons, for better or worse. Losing Shearer would be a huge loss. And he voices one of my favorite characters on the show, Mr. Burns. The show may be called The Simpsons, but I find it to be a show about the people of Springfield, and ...

It just seems so quick, for Hollywood Studios/ MGM to change its name once again! Very strange, considering how the other 3 parks never changed their name in their lifetimes.

Re: New DuckTales coming to Disney XD in 2017
Looking forward to the DuckTales reboot. And I understand if they got new voice actors for the characters for the reboot. Besides, I can remember when Jetsons: The Movie got the original voice actors to reprise George and Spacely, and that did not exactly turn out well, as I thought it sounded very ...

Re: Going To Disney Alone .....
I've gone to Disney World alone 3 times (2006, 2012, 2013), and another time for a class trip, when I did tag along with friends, but later broke away to do my own thing, as I wanted to do more rides. Each one of them has been a great time. Though I will admit, there are times when I feel silly, bei...

RUN THE BALL! RUN THE BALL!
Seriously, how stupid could Pete Carroll be? With 3 downs left, and 1 timeout left, the Seahawks should have used their biggest weapon. This was seriously unacceptable.
