Re: Show Off Your DMA Collection!

How did you get Fantasia and Fantasia 2000? I haven't seen them for sale digitally, and the blu-rays didn't come with codes.

Show Off Your DMA Collection!

I always wanted to participate in these threads, but I haven't purchased movies on disc since my collection was stolen back in 2008. Now that I have a Disney Library, I'd like to show it off! Who has the most Disney movies on DMA? I have 87 so far. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-IUHFw4pwFMWEl0S...

Re: Into the Woods (Disney-film)

There is a great interview with James Lapine over at buzzfeed, and it really makes some of the changes make more sense. I agree with most all of the changes. The one change I didn't like was that it wasn't clear that the witch lost her powers. http://www.buzzfeed.com/louispeitzman/behind-the-changes...

Re: Into the Woods (Disney-film)

Let me start off by saying I am a big fan of the Stage Play, and that I have seen it on video many times, and I also own the soundtrack, and know all of the songs by heart. At first I was worried that they would cut too many songs, or change some of the adult themes. I also feared that I would not l...

Re: Disney Movies Anywhere - Available now!

All my Disney movies except for Sister Act I and II and Who Framed Roger Rabbit are DMA so they all should be in iTunes except for those. But I never use iTunes to watch movies, and haven't since I first joined vudu almost 3 years ago. But when DMA launched I redeemed all my iTunes codes because I k...

Re: Disney Movies Anywhere - Available now!

DMA is now connecting to VUDU. If you connect your DMA account to vudu you can get a Wreck it Ralph for free! http://www.vudu.com/dma This is great news for me, I had 30 Disney movies in my iTunes account, now I have all 70 of my Disney movies in vudu! Now I wish they would add a disc to digital pro...

If you activate the vudu version of the Digital Copy Plus, you will get the 140 min version of the film, then you will have both! You can also activate the iTunes portion after you get the vudu copy.

Re: Into the Woods (Disney-film)

In the leaked script, several of my favorite songs have been cut, including I Guess this is Goodbye/Maybe They're Magic, Ever After, So Happy, Agony Reprise, and No More.

Re: Disney Digital Copy +

I'm sorry you missed out on the iTunes, but the vudu service is just as good, actually it's better. It's available on more devices, like Roku, Xbox, Playstation, in addition to iPhone and iPad. Oh, and almost every streaming device you can think of. The Image quality is fabulous!

Disc to Digital out of beta, 50% off ten or more convsions!

Vudu has just given beta testers credit for 50% of what they have spent on past purchases using the app. That is a great move by vudu! They have also made vudu to go available as a public beta now, and it works on the mac too. Also, everyone gets a 2.00 credit for the first conversion, and 50% off o...

Re: Into the Woods (Disney-film)

I really loved Into The Woods when I first saw it when I was about 16. It's one of the first Musicals I remember seeing, besides The Sound of Music, Grease, and The King and I. Since then I have watched many more, maybe about 20, on video. So it is really nostalgic for me, and I can't wait to see a ...

Re: Classic Disney shows at Midnight starting Wednesday!

I wouldn't call any of those shows "Classic Disney" either, but I would love to see reruns of Even Stevens, The Famous Jett Jackson, Phil of the Future, Lizzie McGuire, and Eerie Indiana. I never caught all of the episodes back then. I'd also love to see repeats of Disney Afternoon shows D...

Re: Are there any Pan & Scan titles you refuse to buy?

Short Answer: I absolutely refuse to buy/watch any film if it's not in OAR, and that includes Open Matte titles that were shown in widescreen in theaters. Long Answer: I don't watch DVD's, but I do buy them, and every DVD I buy goes into my PC's optical drive to be added to my vudu account via Disc ...

Re: "Wicked" or "Oz the Great and Powerful"?

Wicked The Musical wins hands down over OZ: The Great and Powerful. OZ was a good movie, but Wicked has a much better story. The characters are much more developed, and I think the music was very memorable. My favorite songs were The Wizard and I, Dancing Through Life, Popular, Defying Gravity and W...

Re: Oz sequel rumors

I actually rather enjoyed the movie, and I don't think the acting was that bad at all. The problem I had with the movie was that the story elements were a little unbelievable. The way the flying monkey assistant in the beginning went overboard. The way OZ didn't appear to be puzzled about which of t...

Bambi was never one of my favorites, even though I did like it quite a bit, especially in my youth. Not as much now. It was beautifully animated, and it definitely has an emotional story-line. The music is good, but the only memorable song is April Showers. Not typical Disney! Parts of the film are ...

The japanese trailer was really good. It really adds a emotional impact to it. I especially like the scene by the lake, where it looks like they are doing some soul searching. I can imagine them having a heated argument just before this scene. I also like the tour of Monster's Inc. scare floor. It l...

No, they moved into another house nearby, but one of my brother's continued to live there. The guy who stole the DVD's probably thought that if he took one DVD at a time, over a period of time, that my brother wouldn't notice they were missing. And he turned out to be correct. When Disney does join ...

When I joined the Navy, I left my DVD collection (about 200 films) at my Parent's house. After I left, the house was rented out to several college students. On my first visit home, I discovered that one of the students had taken about 30 of my DVD's, a good portion of them being Disney ones. He prob...

Is that the only way? I keep most of my reciepts, but I doubt I'd be able to tell which one was for which blu-ray. And even if I could, I have too many. I'll look though.
