Atonement: Great director and cast, story sounded good, but the movie itself was boring, too long and took itself way too seriously. And Keira Knightley's ghostly thin shoulder blades didn't help either

Yay, can't wait for the DVD. This probably won't come to any theater in Germany, so I won't get to see it for quite some time, but I am really looking forward to the DVD.

Ouch. What did they do to Defying Gravity ? I guess, maybe, because I have listened to it so many times that I'm kinda fixed in what it should sound like. But I really don't like it that slow and I can't imagine why Rachel and Kurt would be singing this song. Maybe it'll grow on me, but for a song ...

For me it's definitely The Exorcist It's an excellent movie, but does scare the crap out of me. Not even the most famous scenes like the head-turn, spider-walk or the angiogram, but the atmosphere and the scenes before Regan's mom goes too ask for help from the priests. Just one very well executed a...

Shakespeare is hilarious, awesome wordplays and I actually like all his comedy stuff a lot better than the tragedies.
Try Titus Andronicus, it's very gory and yes, even funny at times because there are some really twisted puns in it.

I liked the episode very much, because of plot development, but I wasn't too big a fan of the music this time. I am not that into R&B or "black" music. However the last performance was awesome and my jaw literally dropped when Sue blabbed about Quinn's pregnancy. That was plain mean :t...

I think the Blu-Ray is fantastic and has plenty of bonus features to make everybody happy. I don't own the previous PE and would have liked to see some of the stuff that was left off the Diamond Edition, but that's nitpicking IMHO. The whole Hyperion studio tour is awesome and although I would have ...

I just got my SnowWhite Blu today and watched the new BatB Diamond Edition trailer right away. Now, let me start by saying that my mom has seen this movie many times both my old VHS and the DVD (though only 3-4 times on the DVD on our old TV before we got the HD TV). About 10 seconds into the traile...

I doubt we'll be able to see Idina on GLee anytime soon, since she just had a baby a few months ago, and I guess she is taking some time off from her career.
However, I do like the idea to have her on the show a lot. And I want Neil Patrick Harris doing a guest appearance too.

What a great episode. Plot development, character development and great songs, simply the perfect mix. As I guess everybody else did I loved Sue's monologue and Emmy vs. Terri was amazing, although I was literally screaming at my TV when Emmy said that she would marry Ken :o That last longing look b...

Knowing Fox, it might take them forever to release a complete Season set. They love small sets with fewer episodes (look at what they do with Family Guy), so I guess they wanna milk their costumers. Anywho, I already pre-ordered my copy, because I want to get my little hands on those episodes as soo...

And a very sweet scene between Emma and Will.

Heyheyhey, I used to love "It's Flashbeagle, Charlie Brown", still do. The song that Lucy sings at the party is priceless "Lucy is the boss, so listen to Lucy lalala..." But yes, even I have to admit it does not quite have the same charm that Pumpkin or Easter Beagle etc. do. Ver...

Re: Beauty and the Beast: Next Release

It doesn't really matter though, cos I highly doubt we will get the unaltered Theatrical version anyway. It will probably end up being just like the DVD, all three versions on the same disc, using seamless branching and ignoring the fact that the "Original Theatrical version" is really th...

Actually, the idea of just updating the original movie to HD would be enough for me. And I never thought the Death Star that one encounters during the ride was a 3rd Death Star, but that the ride takes place during the same time Star Wars (aka Episode 4) does making thus involving the riders in the ...

I read the whole Shopaholic Series while I was on vacation (yes, guilty pleasure), then I read the Julia Child memoir "My life in France" and now I am almost through Melissa Gilbert's autobiography "Prairie Tale" (which is really good btw)

Am I really the only one who will seriously miss the original ride?

I love Star Tours, always have and I find it a little sad that such a classic and yes, trashy ride (but that's what makes it so classic IMHO) apparently "needs" an overhaul.

LOVED it as well!!! Kristin was awesome as expected and the whole episode just rocked. I am also glad that apparently all her songs made it onto the November soundtrack (which btw, I pre-ordered today :D ). Finally Rachel is back at the Glee club and Mrs. Schuster only had two scenes. Not much Jane ...
