Re: The Walt Disney Signature Collection

If I already own the Diamond Edition in my Movies Anywhere account and I buy the Signature Edition, will it replace the version I already own including it's bonus features, or will I have both versions in my account separately each with their own unique bonus features and restorations?

Re: Disney Movie Club Blu-ray Exclusives?

I'm happy about these Blu-rays, and I hope there are many more, however, while I'm ok with them being without a dvd copy, i wish they included a code for a digital copy. Including a digital copy would make them more future-proof and make their purchase more of an enticing value.

Re: Frozen: Part V

The Target slip covers, although the same as the regular release, all had an issue on the side of the box where the cardboard just didn't seem to be glued together properly. While the slipcovers are the same as the regular release, the case itself is wider on the Target exclusive editions. Not sure...

Re: Considering Joining DMC - Some Questions

Thanks for the response! Do you know if there's an email address or some form of contact where slipcovers can be requested, or do they not really do that?[/quote] Both the Disney Movie Club and Disney Home Entertainment have customer service reps that can easily be reached by phone. I don't know the...

Re: Considering Joining DMC - Some Questions

They come with slipcovers whenever they are issued just like in stores. What that means is some titles are/were not issued with slipcovers. Just like in stores, some titles that originally came with slipcovers will later be shipped by Disney without slipcovers. Ordering a new release that originally...

Re: Tangled vs. Frozen

Frozen by miles ! > Better music > Better characters > Enjoyable storyline > Enjoyed Elsa & Anna over Rapunzel > Better villain > Kristoff over Flynn anyday Felt more Disney, and less Shrek-y  I would use these exact same comments (in reverse) as justification for why I liked Tangled over F...

Thank you Darby. I followed your lead and emailed them also. I'd love to see The Prince and the Pauper released as a DMC Exclusive.

Re: I Have Disney TV Movies on DVD-R

VHS in 2014? Seriously? Why not? If he has the films on VHS and the means to convert them to DVD, he's very lucky. Most people may never have the opportunity to see the films in his collection. I still have a working setup to do just that. I've converted most of my movies that are not available els...

Re: Frozen: Part V

I just saw Frozen this week, and I'm wondering if I'm the only one who didn't love it. It wasn't terrible, and I was looking forward to seeing a Disney animated musical, but the music fell short for me. I was mostly disappointed because I found the lyrics to be generally very basic. It's like the ly...

Re: Fantasia/F2K: 2-Movie Collection Discussion: Nov. 30, 20

Ok.... I own a few blu ray discs (pretty much combo packs where bonus features were exclusive to blu rays, leaving dvds bare), but up until now, I didn't own a player. I recently bought an external blu ray player that hooks up onto my computer. I have the Fantasia movies on blu ray, and had read th...

Re: A Country Coyote Goes Hollywood: new Exclusive title

I agree, Darby. Ironically, The Prince and the Pauper is currently showing on Disney Family Movies On Demand a cable subscription channel, so it is certainly on their radar. Sometimes, but not always, I have noticed that rare titles show on Disney Family Movies On Demand either just before or just a...

A Country Coyote Goes Hollywood: new Exclusive title

I didn't see this mentioned here yet, but A Country Goes Hollywood is coming to the Disney Movie Club as a new Exclusive title. It's a Wonderful World of Disney episode from 1965. I'm so happy to see these older films continuing to be released, so I hope others will support it so they continue with ...

Re: Comcast's new "Disney family movies" on demand

Disney Family Movies On Demand, a cable on demand subscription channel, is currently showing The Prince and the Pauper from 1962. It's widescreen, but I'm not sure that's it's proper aspect ratio. The top and bottom look a bit chopped off at times. However, the picture quality is superb.

It always makes me happy when I see them in the parks. I truly enjoy that movie and the character of Chicken Little that I relate to very much.

Re: Does Disney regret Chicken Little Meet the Robinsons & B

I agree with the comparison to The Aristocats and Robin Hood. Not every Disney movie is going to have the legacy of Snow White, Cinderella, or The Little Mermaid. I don't think Disney should be embarrassed by their intro to CGI films at all. They may not have been as financially successful as they h...

The storybook is a dvd feature, not a physical book.
