Hi everyone!!!! Fidget1234 brought it to my attention that I was considered a missing person here. . . I'm touched that I was remembered after so long. . . There's been a lot of changes for me in the past nine months or so, and I'm afraid that Sunset Girl is a handle I've chosen to drop for various ...

Yikes. Despite all the valuable lessons that television has taught us, the importance of beauty isn't one of them that should be taken so seriously. I don't even know how to feel about this except that it's obviously not ABC's fault. The show held no obligations, and it's up to individuals to...

I'm afraid I don't know, but maybe that's tied in with the fact that that all the W.i.t.c.h. merchandise at the Disney Store is on clearance (which had only been there for a month to begin with, from what I was told). They have children's clothes, dolls, PVC figurines, backpacks and other bags, wall...

I was a dorky high-schooler when the show came out and I became obsessed (all the other kids thought I was nuts). I now own all the episodes (except for the infamous banned one). :D Darkwing is one of my favorite characters of all time. Not all the episodes were the greatest, but the concept and cha...

I can't keep up with the constant change in prices, but the last time I filled up my 15 gallon tank it was over $50. I was very lucky to have gotten back from my drive to California before the prices went so insane. I think we spent around $500 on gas for the trip, which was almost 5000 miles total....

Escapay, thanks for the well thought-out advice. And a special thanks to everyone else for sharing their stories. I actually found a way to cheer myself up last night; I went through all the music saved on my computer and burned a CD of songs I loved back from 1995-96, then I went for a drive with m...

When bad things happen, what do you do?
Sorry guys, I don't know what my point here is, exactly. I love this forum because of the cool people here and I love posting when I can. But sometimes I feel like I do nothing but complain and whine a lot because I hate my life. I feel like a Debbie Downer no matter where I go. And then something l...

Both of my brothers worked at McDonald's at the time so I ended up getting two sets of the Gus and Jaq ornaments, and I'm not about to let them go. My brother Phil decided to place a little dot under each tail with marker on one of my sets though, giving them a little unwanted anatomy. Still,...

I waited for this since the first release was lacking extras and it was 20th Century-Fox. (they tend to do that) Actually I'm thinking of buying this after a while when it reduces in price or when I can get it previously viewed. I'm a huge Garfield fan and I enjoyed the movie but I was disappointed...

Prince Eric, Thank you for giving your point of view in a respectful way. :) Hmm. . . Freud is an interesting subject. Something I try to keep in mind is that he did his research at a time of sexual repression, and I feel that many of his finding simply can't apply to the world today. Perhaps my sex...

Actually, it's been debated by many whether or not it's a choice. I believe that it may be in some cases, but for the most part it's just something that's born into you. I work with kids starting from the grade of kindergarten. Even at that young age where they know nothing of sexuality, you can tel...

I gave away many of my VHS's to my nieces when I upgraded to DVD, and I also donated some to the YMCA for their various day care programs. However, there were a handful I *had* to hold on to, like my original VHS of Lady and the Tramp. It was my first Disney pre-record ever and it reminds me so much...

Strange how such tragedies not only bring out the best in people and pull strangers together, it also brings out the worst in the people that are ready to take advantage of any available opportunity. As awful as the gas (and other) prices are becoming, I feel I have no right to complain. I still hav...

What have your fortune cookies said?
I'm just asking because I decided to order some chinese for lunch and didn't think much about my fortune in the fortune cookie until I opened it up and read it.
Wanna know what my fortune is? "Made in America."
Weird, eh? Anyone else gotten anything memorable, fun, or true?
