Re: Disney Books

Does anyone remember when they were gonna release a second wave of Disney Princess big picture "The Story of" books with Aurora and Merida and Mulan and Pocahontas and such? Well, that never happened...except it kinda did! There is a little library called Disney Princess Deluxe Picture Boo...

Re: Cinderella III: A Twist in Time DVD Press Release/Discussion

This movie never was too close to the original film in its visuals. It has always kinda looked different to me. I mean, yes, they made it look similar, but never so close I went, "Oh, it looks exactly like the Platinum!"

Re: Wicked: The Musical: The Movie

I am so glad I helped you get to see the trailer, Brelly ! I also completely agree with everything you and Divinity said about this looking so good, even Ariana (and that I would have seen it anyway! It's my fave musical!), and reservations about it being two parts, but having faith. And thank you, ...

Re: Wicked: The Musical: The Movie

Yes, I definitely have to see this in theaters! If they last that long...my local theater closed, so I'll have to go to a farther one.

That Shiz online promotion is cool! I wanna join!

Wicked: Passion Project In that sneak peak, the desire and love that Cynthia and Ariana and Jon to want to do this made me very hopeful and excited, plus the costumes and sets and staging and choreography look glorious! Wicked: Official Trailer In this new, full trailer, everything looks smashing! ...

Re: The new Princesses being excluded from the lineup

That's just dumb. Belle said reading about Prince Charming was her favorite part. And she liked palaces because that's what she liked to read about. Her dream was not to read about an enchanted castle but live in one and that's what she got. Also, Ariel wanted to live in the human world just a littl...

Re: The most underrated Disney animated movie of all time

Thanks DisneyFan09. You know, I mostly agree with you, except it is really only "A Guy Like You" that bothers me in the film. I find the rest of the comedy fine.

Re: The most underrated Disney animated movie of all time

Great answer. Cause Dumbo was a hit during it`s release and has always belonged to Walt`s early Pantheon list of classics. But what do you like about Hunchback ? Hunchback has amazing, beautiful, detailed art, of a time when architecture and fashion was pretty beautiful in France, especially the ti...

Great find, Disneynerd! I agree with you and MoonMarc21, it was better as live-action, so it feels less canon.

Yay! Thanks for the info! Jaq and Gus are of course in that teacup before they get the Stepmother's key. They even did a statue of that in the Disney Classics Collection.

Re: The most underrated Disney animated movie of all time

I'm changing my answer to The Hunchback of Notre.Dame , because unlike Dumbo , which Disney and fans have called a classic all of its life, Hunchback hasn't been, when actually it is a masterpiece. A film that's underrated has to be not considered a classic and then actually be a good classic, which...

Re: Rank the Big Four, with a twist!

Another ace post from Alby . I would say, The Little Mermaid does show some story and character evolution with its costumes. Ariel starts as a mermaid horny for a human (nothing but skimpy shells), gets undressed for him (loses her tail when she becomes human), falls into blushing, budding love for ...

Re: Wish

It was that the people all connected to the star power in them (science says we all come from exploding stars from the birth of the universe), and they just did it while singing. It wasn't defeating a villain just by song.
