I really, really like it. It may not resemble the art for the Bambi PE too much, but I actually like it more than that of Bambi. Unfortunately I, too feel like it's probably going to get changed. :( Well hey, maybe Disney will surprise us!

Spongebob: Season Three for sure, and then there's a very small chance that I might get Robots too.

I'm going to get Smallville: Season Four and Ben-Hur, with the former being my first pick. I thought about buying the Halloweentown Double-Feature (mainly for the first film) but ended up deciding against it.

It also looks like one of the sleaziest and stupidest movies of the past year. Agreed. If the Goblet of Fire trailer were attached to the Brother's Grimm I'd most likely go see it, as the film looks slightly interesting itself. But Dukes of Hazzard? It seems like it'd be a better use of time and mo...

Hum, is anyone else confused by the new cover art's implication that this will only be a one-disc set? I was really excited when I heard the news about the rerelease since I never bought the old versions of the movie, but if this single-disc thing turns out to be true it'll be a bit of a disappointm...

I got the book early Saturday afternoon and ended up finishing late Sunday afternoon. I had avoided spoilers like a plague leading up to the book's release, so I was basically completely in the dark as to anything that was going to happen in it. Overall I quite enjoyed it (though that's not a big su...

I thought there was another thread asking this question....? Anyways I'm blind-buying both the Phantom of the Opera: Collector's Edition and Pocahontas.

I missed the first few episodes and from there decided that I'd just buy the DVD set blind, so that's what I'm going to do. I'm glad that the show became such a hit, because if it hadn't I doubt that Buena Vista would've rushed this thing out like this (and with a nice treatment to boot!)

This is actually the first year of recent memory when I'm looking forward to the holiday movie season more than the summer one. Right now the only summer film that I'm *really* excited about is Star Wars. I'm sure I'll still see War of the Worlds, Batman Begins, and all of those other big movies on ...

Right now the current plan is to get the Phantom of the Opera: Collector's Edition for sure, and then if I can raise a little extra money, I'll get Pocahontas as well. If I can't raise that money then I'll have to hold off on it for a couple of weeks, but I'm cautiously optimistic that I'll be able ...

I'm getting the Lemony Snicket 2-disc set, blind. It makes alot more sense to just get the single-disc set (considering that it's $13 cheaper and that this is a blind buy) but I have trouble buying inferior versions of DVDs, and the 2nd disc sounds pretty good to boot.

I'm planning on seeing it at midnight (Wed. night/Thur. morning) with my dad and a couple of siblings, and then I'll probably see it again sometime opening day with a few friends. The trailer makes it look like the best prequel yet, so I've still got hope for it, even after the bland mess that was E...

I'm glad the Batman boxsets have been a big hit! I only own the first one as of now, but I'm sure I'll eventually get 2 (and 3). The reason I haven't purchased volume two yet is because I haven't actually rewatched volume one much, and the fact that lately I've been cutting back on my DVD purchases....

I too bought the single-disc version of I, Robot, but I quickly sold it off when I heard about the two-disc set coming to the US (when it was first listed on Amazon). Overall I suppose I don't mind Fox going in for a double dip already, though I do wish that POTC had been included in the new SE line...

I don't object to religious discussions at all, especially seeing how most of them here in the past have been handled so well. I do agree with Disneykid that sometimes they go on for a bit too long (Loomis-Aaron) but they seem to cause no harm. If we can talk about things like Star Trek and Nickelod...

Thanks for the review! I thought the movie looked quite funny (judging by the trailer) and that it would be a good family movie, so it sounds like it turned out about as I expected. I think this one should be a moderate hit for Disney. (assuming that you're not the only person on the face of the ear...

I assume that Daveigh was passed over for the role of Lilo this time around because of a change in her voice so I'm fine with it, but if that's not the case then I too ask why she was replaced. Though I'm not sure I can picture her voicing Lilo right now, I don't mind the casting decision. I'm certa...

I used to blind buy all the time and I loved it, but lately I've become more strict about what I want in my collection (in other words I only want to own films that I really, really like) and so I think that I'm going to start limiting my blind buying to films that I'm 100% sure I'll like. I suppose...
