Along the same vein as the above post, I am currently reading Before I Get Old: The Story of The Who by Dave Marsh. An incredibly engaging read with a ton of detail about the early days of The Who, haven't quite got to the later years yet, but it's coming. As well, I have Bass Culture by John Entwis...

Well, I'm awfully sorry to hear that Jafar, it really sucks that you won't be able to play Twilight Princess until your return, but may I suggest you get someone to pre-order it for you to make sure you get anything that would come with it (such as a bonus disc or something of the like). Regardless,...

The Legend of Zelda Discussion

Hey guys! I've been away for a while now (work is chewing through my time like there is no tommorow) but now I wanted to start up a legitimate and serious discussion of The Legend of Zelda Nintendo video games. First of all, who here has played/are interested in them? This series of games is easily ...

My favorite DVDs: Friends : The One With All Ten Seasons : While I'm still missing Season 10 (After all, it hasn't been released in Canada yet), I watched it the first time around and loved it, so it's inclusion is a no brainer. And furthermore, the day it comes out I'll be getting it and then sendi...

I would've bought Dr. No, Legally Blonde SE, and Iron Giant SE used at Sam Goody, but by then my mom was kind of giving me that stern "YOU HAVE ENOUGH DVDS AND YOUR ROOM LOOKS LIKE BLOCKBUSTER!" look. So I'll have to get those behind her back next time, lol. Boy do I know that look!...

It's not definate and the PE should end about two years from now when Disney will stop releasing DVDs and move on to the new format BLU-RAY . Boy are you looking the gift-horse in the mouth on this one. DVD is not going to be replaced so quickly. Besides, what makes you think Blu-Ray is going to be...

The unedited part of the Three Pigs is included when Leonard Maltin is talking about the short in the extras. While it isn't in full on the R1 set, this was more than enough to satisfy my curiousity on the issue. Anyways, as I have said before, I think that the edits were mistakenly left in Clock Cl...

There's nothing wrong with you. I'm 22 and I still collect all of the movies I loved as a child. I go so far as to want to get the TV shows I watched as a kid (He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is a must-have for me). If you like it, then you collect it, that's what I say.

Is it $14 for ALL single-disc dvd's regardless of theor status? I don't rent or go to Blockbuster, but I was in one a couple of weeks ago with a friend from school and noticed a couple of very high sought after oop criterion titles that Id make a killing off for only $14! Is this a universal policy...

Okay, you can't purchase it up front. You have to rent it and hold onto it past the 14 Days. Until that point you won't get the cover box. On the 15th day you take it back and inform them you are buying it and want the cover box. They will go to the back and retrieve a box for you. Then you pay for ...

That is correct, the "Says Who?" (I believe it was) was edited, and (I firmly believe) accidently used on MMLC2. As I said in my previous post, the dialogue is still intact on the Alice DVD, as is the fight with the stork. However, the Alice DVD is missing other scenes (I can't remember ex...

Okay, to clarify a few things: When you take it back and purchase the DVD, you get the original case if they have it (99% of the time they do) No matter how many copies of the movie they have, they'll let you buy it, they have to, it's their policy You get the disc replacement the same way you would...
