All this talk about the princesses having passed away is depressing. I prefer to think they are all living in their respective time-frames but can be summoned to Sofia's world whenever they are required.

New trailer for the series premiering in January. Apparently, trolls , witches, and mermaids will be added into the mix. Could this mean an Ariel cameo? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1pE2l60VRGA" frameborder="0"></iframe> ...

Although paired with the overly-anxious horse Minimus (voiced by Stonestreet), Sofia learns to believe in herself and proves that a princess can do anything she sets her mind to. I saw Sofia's horse's name is Minimus and thought "Because the name "Maximus" is all ready taken for a Di...

I wonder what would have happened if indeed Disney killed off Esmeralda in "Hunchback"... Would Quasi and Phoebus have gone off to run a small boutique hotel in the French countryside perhaps? :P

Custom-made Annette Funicello doll

Thought I'd share this here, as I'm sure many of you will appreciate it. For Christmas this year, one of my friends created this special Annette Funicello tribute doll as a surprise for me; as she knows I'm a big Annette fan. I cannot get over the details - there is a whole set of miniature Annette ...

Yeah, I'll probably just grab it online but I'm so used to going into stores to buy my Disney titles.

Was released in Australia on the 5th December - I've not been able to find it in-store here either. Very disappointing.

Yes we are off-topic, but I would just like to say that having Rasputin as the villain in "Anastasia" works because, as history recounts, his involvement with the family indirectly led to their undoing.

Well they're unpopular because nobody saw either one of those movies. They weren't really successful and Disney tends to add princesses to their lineup based on how successful it is. Of course, since Brave is a Pixar movie, it's kind of a given that people were going to see it. Although...I find it...

In Australia (on free-to-air at least - it's a different story on cable) we really only get Disney movies during school holidays. A few weeks ago, we had all three "Toy Story" films spread over three Saturday nights, and we recently had both "Finding Nemo" and "Up". Sev...

My guess is that the second are extras for the first film.

...however, the extras posted before sound to me the exact same ones as the original DVD release.
All of the 2-movie sets have 3 discs, one Blu-Ray and two DVD's (one for each movie).
Aw, snap! :D

The 3-disc pack usually comprises:

1 Blu-ray (which will have both movies), plus 2 regular DVDs (one for each movie).

But Giselle isn't a princess, is she? She *almost* married Edward but wound up with McDreamy instead. If that's the case, Nancy Tremaine is the princess, not Giselle. :)

You know, I have a love/hate relationship with the Disney sequels. I'm SURE the powers-that-be started out with really good intentions, and there was some GREAT stuff early on ("The Enchanted Christmas"). Then they started becoming greedy, churning out sequels to films which really didn't ...

If the two movies are on the same disc, that doesn't mean they share the same menu, right??? Is there a preliminary screen where you choose either movie? And another question guys, how many GB does a Blu ray film usually take on the disc? On the Disney Blu-ray double feature discs, there's only one...

There's very little that feels like padding in "Hunchback", but what's most unnecessary is the presence of the gargoyles. I believe they simply function as a way to allow Quasi to express his inner feelings. "A Guy Like You" ruins the flow of a very good sequence. It's really fun...

I think "Cinderella" and "Little Mermaid" are the only ones who've reached trilogy status so far. That depends...whether you count semi-sequels as well... If so, Cinderella, Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, Aladdin, Lion King and Tarzan have 3 movies. Lilo & Stitch even...
