My daughters have every one of these and just love to watch them. In addition to the stunning visuals and positive moral lessons, the music is absolutely beautiful. My girls already love classical music and I have Barbie to thank for it. Say what you will about the commercialism, these make my girls...

All of them. I have a 6-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old daughter, so we have every DVD released. I'm fairly certain it's a law for daddys to buy all of these.

The problem is that they obviously sell very well. While I've never bought one myself, a lot of folks must be.

Wait!, Hooters serves food??! When did this start??

Seriously, BWW has great wings but East Coast Wings does as well. I've never thought any wings from a cookie cutter pizza joint were any good.

I have placed roughly 1200 orders with Amazon over the years. My card # did get boosted, and the way I fixed the problem was to get a card that was used exclusivly for on-line orders. That way if it gets boosted, I have very little to change and it won't effect anything in my daily life. I would high...

Robert Altman has died

I just got a call from a friend in LA who says that famed director Robert Altman has died at age 81. Probably best know for such classics as M*A*S*H, and Nashville, he also directed hundreds of television shows and this years A Prairie Home Companion. Bob was a kind and gentle man who gave so much b...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you do know that these are the edited "syndicated" versions with about 3 minutes cut from each episode, right?

Operation Teddy Bear

As many of you know, my best friend is currently serving in the US Army in Iraq. In one of his emails to me he mentioned the absolutely deplorable conditions that the children of Iraq are living in. They are hungry, thirsty, terrified, and in many cases all alone in the world and they are children. ...

I have become so spoiled by DVD season sets that I hardly watch any TV at all. I have purposefully avoided a single episode of Lost, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, among many others so I can enjoy them on DVD. I will watch the entire first season of Lost over the summer to get ready for seaso...
