Here is a link to the ''Walt Disney Treasures'' 7-Pc. DVD Gift Set for the original 7 Disney Treasures without the tins. I know collectors want to have the tins because they look great, but I just take the cases out of the tins, and the tins have been sitting in my closet ever since. http://disney.s...

I loved The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Great Mouse Detective, and Tresure Planet.

Well maybe they can move to Orlando and work with the former Orlando Animation folks now at Legacy Animation.

Well here is my contribution. Had trouble putting these in order besides Mary Poppins, she just had to be at the top of my list. Walt and the Sherman brothers as some of their finest. 1. Mary Poppins (1964) 2. Song of the South (1946) 3. The Rookie (2002) 4. Newsies (1992) 5. The Reluctant Dragon (1...

Happy Birthday Walt, may your company return to the greatness it was under your leadership.
As Walt put it
"I hope we'll never lose sight of one thing that it was all started by a mouse."

But to bad it is led today by a RAT

We can only hope eisner is next

Hopefully 6 months or a year without Roy around will prove to the board that Eisner needs to go. Then Roy could return and turn the company around to the form of entertainment that Walt built it to be.

Song of the South all the way. With all the movies out there, some group can be offended by pretty much any movie by most any studio. Just because a movie is released on DVD doesn't mean you HAVE to buy it, but if it isn't released does mean you CAN'T buy it. Come on Disney, give us the chance to bu...

Personally, I enjoyed the movie on DVD, even the Morning Report, but I am not thrilled with the menu set up of either of the 2 dvd's in the set. Disc 1 could have included a more user friendly menu to choose between the special edition or the other edition of the movie. Disc 2 could have included al...

I have all 7 so far and am thrilled to have them as part of my collection. Davy was the last I bought and simply got it off of EBay just to have the complete set but once I got it I found out I love it.
Can't wait for the next wave to be released in December.

Say it isn't so

Why can't Disney figure out they could make so much money just by bringing the Walt Disney magic to DVD. I personally want to see more of the originals getting the DVD treatment they deserve than more of the remakes modern Disney is so fond of.

No!!! Disney films are not just for children. I am a 33 yr old guy with 44 titles by Disney. I am looking forward to Lion King being released this year, but the REAL ...

Bought the DVD

Not positive at this point. A bunch of sites list the Isolated Score and Sound FX tracks, but they might have just copied it over from the original 2-disc's record. DVD Empire's scans are of the previous CE. So unless someplace reviews it, we won't know til Tuesday, most likely. And even then, Disn...
