hmv online
one of the dearest sellers HMV, say they have been listening to their customers. in response they are lowering prices online & whats more FREEPOST in UK. more like listened to the lack of tills ringing when just about every one else was cheaper.
Re: hmv online
Well, they've either been listening, or they've set up a warehouse in Jersey. And I know which one it iswaltmad wrote: one of the dearest sellers HMV, say they have been listening to their customers. in response they are lowering prices online & whats more FREEPOST in UK. more like listened to the lack of tills ringing when just about every one else was cheaper.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Just noticed that Amazon.co.uk, has lowered the 'super saver' postage to all products costing £15 or over and not the usual £19! Not a huge change, seeing as most places give free delivery, but its better than nothing right?

Well they have been very clever, alot of products are £14.99, so therefore they wont be getting free delivery unless they buy something else...Enchantress wrote:Just noticed that Amazon.co.uk, has lowered the 'super saver' postage to all products costing £15 or over and not the usual £19! Heres some better images of Toy Story 1&2, including the spines.
The covers are starting to grow on me now, though they could have been better. Seems Pixar are also adding images to the spines, which they did with The Incredibles. Though i dont think the Toy Story cover is the final cover, theres afew things missing and some that need taking away.
Large cover for Herbie. Though the spine will be abit different and it will have the widescreen logo at the top instead of the Walt Disney logo.
Im on a roll here
I keep having to edit the post when i find new things....
Obviously is unfinished. Looks like it will be the one disc edition included.
Why the hell has the widescreen logo returned? It makes no sense. Sometimes its there, othertimes it isnt. Is someone just forgetting to add it or something?

(if only Amazon sold penny sweets )*Andy* wrote:Well they have been very clever, alot of products are £14.99, so therefore they wont be getting free delivery unless they buy something else...Enchantress wrote:Just noticed that Amazon.co.uk, has lowered the 'super saver' postage to all products costing £15 or over and not the usual £19! Thanks for the images Andy, i quite like the ENG cover, not as bad as i thought it'd be . I agree with you, i don't get why the widescreen logo sometimes appears, and sometimes not kinda strange huh?

And its not easy to work out when they inlcude it and when they dont. Since the last two platinums have been fullscreen anyway. And the past few sequels havent had it. But Poohs Heffalump did......Enchantress wrote:(if only Amazon sold penny sweets )*Andy* wrote: Well they have been very clever, alot of products are £14.99, so therefore they wont be getting free delivery unless they buy something else...

Yeah you're right Andy, i remembered you pointed out that Tarzan didn't have the widescreen logo, i think that was the first time it happened, not sure though.
It is weird though, one of lifes great questions

The Toy Box looks great! I'll probably go for it and buy it! I still don't like the Toy Story I cover, but at least it'll be hidden inside the box!
By the way, does anyone know if BVUK usually includes slipcovers on Disney-Pixar movies?

They did with Finding Nemo and The Incredibles and judging from the picture in the announcement, Toy Story probably will. However, when things are packaged in box sets, the slipcover usually goes (judging from what happened with Cinderella and Cinderella 2 as well as the Pixar movie box from last March), so if you get the two movie box set, you may not get the slipcovers. However, seeing as the box protects the discs, then to an extent, the box is a giant slipcover.DisneyFan 2000 wrote:By the way, does anyone know if BVUK usually includes slipcovers on Disney-Pixar movies?

Yeah it is, but I'll probably seperate the movies to put them in chronological order on the shelf. But oh well, it's cheaper, so box set is the way to go.Wonderlicious wrote:However, seeing as the box protects the discs, then to an extent, the box is a giant slipcover.

Poor Andy. I'm not too bothered about the TS releases, i'll probably get them, but they're not on my '2005/6 Must Have' list. If i do get them, it'll be in the two pack i think , i'd rather save the dough, mind you, so much could change between now and then
