Yeah they're pretty cool I guess. My mother would probably appreciate the Disney stamps and my sister would like those Muppet stamps.
What the heck is a muppet?
Well it's not a mop or a pet but man!!!

Both sets are pretty cool, and rather affordable as far as Disney collectibles go!

snowhite8 came up with that last insightful observation, not me. I must give credit where credit's due. Smile

Yeah, I've created a nice framed set of the last ones, and certainly will include the next. I really like Alice and Snow White; TLM looks a little off-character and I really don't like her that much while I already have a mickey stamp, so he might not get the special treatment.
As far as the muppets, all I can say is SAM THE EAGLE! That guy needs his own pane of stamps!

I wonder what this year's Disney Stamps theme is supposed to be-last year's was friendship if I recall, so what's this years? Celebration, perhaps?

I'm guessing it's Disneyland's 50th, but I don't quite see where the Ariel stamp fits that theme.

It's celebration. The website Nevermore linked to says:

The Art of Disney: Celebrations (4)

The U.S. Postal Service honors the "art" of celebration as portrayed by Walt Disney and his studio animators in August through four festive stamps:

* Mickey Mouse holds a birthday cake just beyond the reach of his eager pal Pluto.
* Alice has a tea party in Wonderland with the Mad Hatter.
* The Little Mermaid Ariel, plays music for Flounder, her undersea friend in the third.
* And in the fourth stamp, Snow White and Dopey do a lighthearted dance.

This is the second stamp pane featuring the art of Disney to be issued by the U.S. Postal Service; the first was on the theme of friendship.

The Ariel one is the only Disney one I like. The rest look bad. She's the most like herself compared to the others except maybe the Mickey stamp and I don't really like Mickey.
