Source: https://discussingfilm.net/2019/07/05/l ... exclusive/We have heard that Disney are considering the development of a ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ live-action reboot series at Disney+ which would be produced by 20th Century Fox Television who are also working on the ‘Love, Simon’ series for Disney+. If the decision is made to go further ahead with the ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ series then production will begin in 2020 for release on the Disney+ streaming service which already is set to boast an impressive catalogue of content.
