Animated Classics SURVIVOR - Round 2

It's been 1 week and last time we voted off 4 movies...
Round 1 - The Aristocats, Oliver & Company, The Three Cabelleros, The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad

Recap:

It works just like the Survivor TV show. Basically, come on here once every 5 days and vote for the Disney Animated Classic (see the list http://www.ultimatedisney.com/ultimateclassics.htm) that you want to vote off, i.e., the one that you like the least! At the end of the week, I'll come on here and announce who got voted off, and a new thread will start for the 2nd week. This gets to be a lot of fun, especially when it gets down to the wire.

The problem with these movies (versus songs on an album or movies by one actor, which I'm used to), is that there's a lot of them. I thought about breaking it up by year of release, but that wouldn't be as definitive. Therefore, the four movies that receive the most votes will be kicked off each week, UNTIL we are down to the final 10! Then it will be two each week until we're at the top 5... then it's one a week!

Note: Last time all votes were cast within 3 days. If that's the case again this week, we'll shorten it from 5 to 3. We had a tie last time, so let the craziness begin again this week! :)

So, Survivors ready?? Come on in and vote off ONLY ONE of these movies

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Pinocchio
Fantasia
Dumbo
Bambi
Saludos Amigos
Make Mine Music
Fun and Fancy Free
Melody Time
Cinderella
Alice in Wonderland
Peter Pan
Lady and the Tramp
Sleeping Beauty
101 Dalmations
The Sword in the Stone
The Jungle Book
Robin Hood
Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh
The Rescuers
The Fox and The Hound
The Black Cauldron
The Great Mouse Detective
The Little Mermaid
The Rescuers Down Under
Beauty and the Beast
Aladdin
The Lion King
Pocahontas
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Hercules
Mulan
Tarzan
Fantasia 2000
The Emperor's New Groove
Atlantis: The Lost Empire
Lilo & Stitch
Treasure Planet
Brother Bear

Reminder: Please post your vote alone in bold, as this makes it easier for me. :)

*Note* Home on the Range, which has received 0 votes, has been removed. I decided it's not really fair to give it a "by" until the final rounds, and there will always be new movies that were released after this game.

Voting ends at midnight (EASTERN TIME) on Tuesday, March 30th.

Bad Karlsen, how can anyone dislike Hunchback?

My vote: Dumbo

Kim Olav, you call me bad for not liking the Hunchback, but you don't like one of the bigest classics of them all?

To be fair, I'm not entirely certain I've even seen this one in its entireity, as it has been forever. However, I can't justify voting off any of the others over this. Therefore, my vote goes to Saludos Amigos.

My vote goes to Treasure Planet one of the worst Disney movie in history, talk about how little money it made.

I hope you're not voting it off just because of it's box office gross.

I'm voting it off because it was very boring and a bad film.
I really didn't like it to much graphics and the plot suck. :x

Robin Hood

It is not bad, I even like it (I like all Disney animated features) but it is just plain mediocre.

Atlantis: The Lost Empire

Why? Because the movie was boring, the characters not the most memorable and the animation style was pitiful.

Treasure Plant -- it just didn't reach out and pull me into the movie.

Saludos Amigos. I find it amazing so many people would vote off movies like Hunchback and Treasure Planet before other movies like Saludos and Melody Time.

Saludos Amigos - Perhaps leaving the anthology films in competition isn't really fair, since I'd wager many, if not most, people here haven't seen them. But that's why some of Disney's best films, including Ichabod and Mr. Toad and Oliver & Company get voted off.

I hope you understood I was joking (but just a little) with you, Karlsen. Although I am quite suprised how many vote off Hunchback. A cinematic and powerful masterpiece if you ask me. But I don't think we should get into a discussion of who's got the better taste. 8)

Atlantis: The Lost Empire

To be fair though, I fast forwarded through most of it. Just couldn't take another conversation of "gee, that random floating crystal thing is a life force, no it's a battery, no it's a lightbulb, no it's an ignition key..." It was one giant snooze fest for me.

I think you should only be able to vote off movies you have seen. For example a lot of you are saying Saludos and Melody Time and I know a majority of you have not even seen them. I just saw these both and they are very good. Much better than each of their counterparts. During this Survivor I will not be able to vote off Cinderella of Mulan simply because I have not seen them. So my vote for this week is Lilo and Stitch it wasnt bad, I just lliked the others better.

Well I watched Saludos Amigos, which I had only seen parts of, in its entirety this week and stand by my vote for it. In fact, I now think it should have gone off before Three Cabelleros.

The Rescuers, one the blandest Disney films ever.
