I can just see them brainstorming that now... "what pets could we give Tiana, Pocahontas and Merida?", "hmm... How about a frog, raccoon and bear?", "excellent idea! Keep up the good work"

And they would be named Gumbo, Compass, and Arrow, respectively. :P

I don't think you can have the words 'lets be real' and 'Disney Princess' in the same sentence....

Yikes. My Little Pony and Littlest Pet Shop had a kid, and that kid got beaten up by the Disney Princesses. This is the result.

I don't even know what's the point of Sultan. Couldn't they just simply turn Rajah into a cub? It worked in the movie.

As a Aladdin fan I feel really insulted. Not that I'm going to care and start buying these LP rip-offs or anything. But wow. Wow. It's like when it comes to Aladdin they don't really give a " F" anymore. :glare:

It only took me like 2 seconds to look up Arabian animals and find things like Camels, birds, snakes, turtles, horses, scorpions, Arabian Sand cat !

Not like they'll ever give Jasmine a non-cutesy animal like a scorpion or snake. But come on ! Don't be so damn lazy !

They could of easily given Jasmine a pet Camel or Sand Cat. Make him/ her pink, white, or blue make it look cute and viola ! Not rip-off Rajah and name it after her Father's title.

You can listen to Ariel's pet, Treasure, speak here. Also, they've added Mulan's pet, Blossom, on the Disney Princess website.
This lovely panda is the most cheerful pet one could wish for. Mulan met her during a banquet, when Blossom was hiding under her table.

What I don´t get is how they can get away with unrealistic colors for these animals when in each of the Disney movies animals ARE portrayed with realistic colors.

Also, how come a former "fish" like Ariel ends up with a cat as pet?

Not to mention that, if most Princesses had an animal companion...why not just make them cute (if need be) and use them for this line?

I've found the origins of where these animals came from and where the Princesses found their new palace pets

So I'll admit, I'm curious... when are we going to see pets for Merida, Tiana and Pocahontas? Or have they been left out?

Would they really pass up the chance to give Merida an orange Scottish terrier called McCutie?

As for the others I'm not sure. Pocahontas could get a squirrel or maybe a bear cub. I dunno about Tiana they could probably give her a cat or a dog a well.

I don´t think this "thing" will become popular enough as to go beyond the characters that are already done.

You know Tiana's pet would enjoy cooking with her, haha. "A kitten Tiana found hidden in her bag of flour!"

As for Pocahontas, I know it would never happen, but I wish she would get the turkey she was supposed to have as a sidekick in the film, but was cut.

They are extremely popular and so hard to find because they are sold out everywhere!

I looked at every Target, Walmart and Toys'r'us in Miami and Orlando.
