Me too though I'm not loving the new cover for 'Great Fairy Rescue'. The old one was much better.
atlanticaunderthesea wrote:Though in all honesty, the first Tink film now looks out of place. It has her old facial design, and the leaf boarder that got dropped.
I think so too although I like that cover in general.
atlanticaunderthesea wrote:Will this be a UK release as well you think?

I don't know. I suppose we'll know by the time Secret of the Wings gets released on home video in the UK. If they are planning on re-releasing the previous films, that would be the time. In North America, they are re-releasing both the Blu-ray combos and the stand-alone DVDs with the new covers.
It is funny how they are so insistent with dropping the TinkerBell from everything, now they keep it?!
Indeed. Inconsistency, thy name is Disney. :P

I haven't been watching these films. But from what I can tell, the Tinkerbell character is unrecognizable. Is she in any way similar to the character from Peter Pan??

She's more in character in the second film 'Lost Treasure' (she's short-tempered, stubborn, blushes when she's angry etc), not so much in the rest of them.

They had to alter her personality to fit the franchise and its demographic. She couldn't remain the unlikable character she was in Peter Pan.

I disagree... She also lost her temper in 'Tinker Bell' and 'Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue'...

Yes but those are only a few brief instances; in 'Lost Treasure' her personality from Peter Pan is much more prevalent.

Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue has been converted to 3D!

Worked on 3D stereo cameras to convert shots into stereo for Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue

Do you think the other two movies have been or are going to be converted to 3D as well? Is Disney is going to release a 3D combo pack any time soon?

It seems Disney is continuing its infamous tradition of recycled animation.

Too bad. I might check them out some time. The animation seems nice though.

So that scene wasn't used in the actual film?

I always presumed they did that anyway ... isn't it common place in CG films, more so than hand drawn ?

I saw the big quad posters/stands for this in the cinema last night .... I AM SO EXCITED !!! :D

This was brought up here when the trailer was first released, you must not have seen it.

I just checked the original thread and there was no mention of this by anyone. You must have seen this on another board or something and thought it was discussed here.

Why is the first movie cover the same :?

The other two are really great.

I'd rather 3 and 4 match the original first 2... arrrghhhh no consistency!

yeah, but I dont think she was totally unlikable in peter pan. either way, that could be how she ends up instead of where she starts.

She has moments of the Peter Pan Tink personality, but her friends normally bring her down from it, and soothe her. We can only presume that as she is in love with him, she behaves differently around him?

I do wonder how they will connect Tink and Peter for the first time. I cannot wait to see how it plays out.

I don't think they will. I want them to but I don't think it's gonna happen.

Personally, I want them in the last movie they'll make to show Tinker Bell finding an abandoned baby in Mainland and taking it with her to Never Land.

To be honest, these films can go on and on, there is no time limit is there? Well, they showed Wendy, so I presumed Peter would be shown.
