The stage adaptation has substituted the word 'barbaric' with 'chaotic' in "Arabian Nights".
Disney [...] also made a few changes to “Aladdin.” Among them: the word “barbaric” has been deleted from the opening song, “Arabian Nights,” and replaced with “chaotic,” reflecting a change previously made for the 2019 live-action film. “The 18-month hiatus gave us a chance to take a fresh look at ‘Aladdin’ and ‘The Lion King’ and make surgical changes to the books,” Disney Theatrical Productions said in a statement for this story, “informed by all that’s occurred since we’d last performed these shows.”

Jonathan Freeman has been replaced as Jafar on the Broadway show. His final performance was today. I wonder if this change had to do with Disney wanting a non-white actor for the role or if there was some other reason.

Awww that's the end of an era. I wonder if he wanted to move on or if Disney wanted to cast someone else (he was probably the best paid actor in the show for quite a while and business for Aladdin must not be amazing right now). I'm just glad he got his performance once again captured forever on camera (now if Disney will let us see it...)

Maybe that's the reason why Disney hasn't released the ProShot yet:
