^ Yeah, it must be that. I'll try it next time I'm at a high-speed source, good thing they don't come out for 4-5 months. :D

Oh, I didn't notice Elsa was also transforming, Divinity! Good eye!

You're welcome. While Elsa changing her outfit is a big thing dramatically, I don't remember the "transformation" actually being that impactful the way the magic around Cinderella and Tiana is in their films. I think it's really how dazzling her outfit looks as she walks into the sunlight for the first time that sticks with me. That might be why the Elsa pop doesn't really stand out as a "transformation' the same way.

I think the magic that transforms Tiana was ugly 3D from what I recall. So Cinderella's transformation is easily the most memorable of the three, even if all three /outfits/ are gorgeous. I'm not crazy about the Aurora pop--I think I'd rather it looked like the moment at the end of the fairies' scene where Merryweather and Flora ruin the dress--if it was going to be half-and-half like that. I'm still waiting for a pop of Aurora in the blue dress (with the movie hair rather than the DP line makeover hair) myself.

No transformation beats Cindy's for me! It's part of the reason I love her film in the first place. Anyway, I thought Tiana's water magic was cool, not ugly, and Elsa's is ok. I like the Aurora Pop as is because she never wore the one that was both colors at the same time after the first color fight, she wore the dress while it was changing, and that's what the Pop is, it's in the middle of changing.

Eh, 3D integration into hand-drawn films is spotty for me most of the time. Even the chandelier in B&tB sort of irks me. I like the design of the Hydra in Hercules, but the 3D looks so horrid these days, although the whales in Treasure Planet are still the nadir for me. The Cave of Wonders in Aladdin is one of the few examples that I think works and doesn't stand apart too much.

Oh. I see. I thought the water magic was hand-drawn though. I wish I knew.

Apparently they have VHS pop covers for Cinderella and Dumbo out now for pre-order. You beat me to the punch, blackcauldron85. :P I just happened to see them them on Entertainment Earth earlier today.

Not just those two, but Alice in Wonderland, too!

Man, Dumbo is a mega favorite, and I am tempted.

I thought I'd never buy Pops. I thought they were ugly and too simple. Then the Cinderella transformation Pop came out, and now I've bought every Pop that has to do with the 1950 Cinderella (no Princess re-design or gold stuff). I also bought the Maleficent disappearing in flames and Aurora dress color changing ones. You got me, Disney. And you got me, Funko.

My Sebastian pop came today. It looks much cuter in person than in the pictures! I had pre-ordered it with the Tiana transformation pop and the TP&TF Movie Moment, so I wasn't sure if it would come until then, so it was a nice surprise today.

I still need to get around to pre-ordering the TLK and Tangled Moments though.

I can't really bring myself to but into these movie poster ones, but I heard rumor of a Sleeping Beauty one dropping this summer. If that's true, I'm in danger.

I believe the only VHS cover left they could do that would potentially 'get' me is The Sword in the Stone. But I'm sort of hoping it's lackluster the way Hercules' VHS cover pop ended up being, so I don't feel pulled into getting it. They've already done the moment of Arthur pulling the sword (used on most every cover for the film) anyway.

Thankfully I was able to pre-order vintage Donald and Goofy. I'm hoping someday Sora (from Kingdom Hearts) will get a pop of his Steamboat Willie form to go with them. I was able to get that old Hades variant (the one of him holding the chessboard) at the same time. Apparently it was still available after all this time and only $5 now.

I saw a version of Mickey from Fun and Fancy Free yesterday, I don't know if that one's new? I know there was the series where they had all the variants of Mickey together on this big, black bar, whereas this one was solo. It was really cute. The Philharmonic Mickey is another cute one. For me, now there's just Tangled "I See the Light," TLK "Hakuna Matata," the Steamboat Willie Cart, Oswald, and Daisy (I wouldn't be surprised if break down and get Cinderella's transformation pop eventually though, perhaps child!Mirabel, too.). Which...Daisy doesn't look great, but she's the only one of the core characters I didn't have. Well, I didn't get Huey, Dewey, and Louie and Chip & Dale, the former because a 3-pack price is a big ask and the latter because I'd rather they were smaller Buddy Pops since they'd look odd being the same size as the others. But Daisy is sort of the equivalent to Minnie for Donald, so I'd like to have one for that reason.

I'm still tempted sometimes to get the Musketeer versions of Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. If only Donald's beak or whatever looked better... I think the vintage one only turned out alright because the old Donald in the shorts had a long/pointy beak. Aside from the first Donald pop they made ages back (that's the one I have) and the Kingdom Hearts variants which are pretty old, too, all the beaks on the recent Donald variants as well as Daisy just look...odd and smushed or something. In comparison, the change to Goofy compared to that first pop of him was actually an improvement (the first pop they made of him was a little creepy, actually. ).
