Think of it as a kind of time capsule. We take turns naming songs and each song goes on the list. In this post, which will be edited for every new turn taken. If this is successful, I'll extend the A list to a B in a follow-up reply and so on. All genres are accepted.

There are 3 rules (EDITED: 1/6/2012 & 12/14/2011):

1. The same band / artist / group cannot be named twice in a row. This applies to your next turn and the person to post after you. This also applies to songs- for example, if one person mentions an original and the next person or on your next turn you name a cover version.

2. If a female artist / COMPOSER / (female fronted) group or song featuring a female vocalist hasn't been named in the 4 turns before yours, you have to name one. Otherwise, the song you name which breaks the rule becomes banned from the jukebox completely as a penalty.

3. Of course, nobody has 2 turns in a row unless this thread really needs a bump.

4. NO Kidz Bop and absolutely No (more) Glee Cast recordings. Well... okay, send me a PM or Facebook me a YouTube link of your Glee request and I'll check it out if I don't know the original song. (Awful involved, I know.)

We can't repeat the whole list, it will take up way too much space. Just type out the number you're filling out and I'll factor it into the list from my starter post.

A13: Carly Simon - "You're So Vain"

Sequel, my turn is for a female artist (Justice, A09, used a female vocalist). But, I'll count Rihanna as A14 and keep your original A12.

We're up to A15 right now.

^ Well, I changed my mind about Spiral Starecase and edited my post to Rihanna's Disturbia, so it should still be A12.

Fine. (Click the picture. I actually got that stupid timecode thing to work for once.) (It's just a joke, by the way.)

I've been listening to most of the titles posted (in the order they're on this 'jukebox'), and it's rather enjoyable. I haven't heard all of the songs before, but I like most of them, besides Heart's "Crazy On You" - possibly (I'll have to listen to it again to get a more definitive opinion on it).
