I understood what he said, but it was quick and maybe a little mumbled.

Anyway, super excited for this movie!

I'm glad Orlando Bloom as returning as Will, but I wish Keira Knightley was as well. At least a cameo appearance or something since it's odd to have Will without her.

It hasn't been confirmed by Disney yet, but she may have a small cameo in the film after all:
The 31-year-old, who carved her name in Hollywood playing swash-buckling Elizabeth Swann, filmed top secret scenes at Shepperton studios last month opposite long standing co-stars Johnny Depp, 53, and Orlando Bloom, 39.

A movie insider reveals: “The top-secret one-day shoot took place in November and the set was in lock-down. “Keira was really excited to reprise the character that made her famous and get into her wigs and costume again.

“Her role will be only make a small return during the end credits to delivering killer lines hinting at a possible bigger part in sixth movie.”

It would be really lovely if Elizabeth popped back for a little bit; the last one really missed her I think. The lookalike mermaid couldn't hold a candle to Elizabeth Swann. I very much hope it turns out to be true !

I agree, Keira Knightley coming back would be great.

What's the other title? As far as I know it's called "Dead Men Tell No Tales" everywhere.

It's called "Salazar's Revenge" in the UK.

Just the UK ? How odd ?! I wonder why, must be some sort of copyright ? Like Zootopia / Zootropolis ...

Not only in the UK. In Spain is called Salazar's Revenge too, but in Spanish. And in some other countries it also has that title. Yes, it seems it's a copyright problem. This is what Cinemablend says about the title change:
There's no specific word on why the change was made though in reporting the news Den of Geek theorizes that it has to do with what trade marks are available. If there was difficulty getting the trademark for Dead Men Tell No Tales in the UK because of similarly titled projects, then Disney would change the name so they could secure a trademark on a different name. The name change isn't only happening in the UK. The name change also covers the film's release in France, Italy, and Spain.

I'm surprised that they're ending the franchise already, but I guess they've realized that it's no longer as lucrative as it used to be, much like Johnny Depp. Still, I wouldn't read too much into that considering that Toy Story 3 was supposed to be the end as well and we all know how that turned out.

Couldn't "the final adventure begins" imply that this is the first in another Pirates trilogy (or tetralogy)? With the rumors that Keira Knightley had returned for an end credits scene, I sort of assumed-- or maybe hoped-- they were setting up for a full fledged return for a 7th movie with Jack Turner and Elizabeth Swann returning.

The Pirates franchise is very much apart of my childhood. Most of the series is pretty bad, but I loved them-- and they usually come out around my birthday which sometimes falls on Memorial Day, so I associate them with special occasions, too. Excited to see it, and I hope it does well at the BO so we get more!

Tickled by Bardem's Ariel hair-- come to think of it, maybe they're testing out tech for the live action TLM? Hmm... Also, am I the only one who thinks the posters look incredibly amateurish. I thought they were fake when I first saw them.
