Henry Jackman to Score Disney’s ‘Big Hero 6
Henry Jackman has been tapped to score the upcoming animated feature Big Hero 6. The action comedy adventure directed by Don Hall & Chris Williams (Bolt) is inspired by the Marvel comics of the same title. The movie follows a brilliant robotics prodigy who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. The Big Hero 6 characters first appeared in 1998 and Marvel later on released a series of six comics featuring the team in 2008. TJ Miller has recently been announced as part of the film’s voice cast. Roy Conli (Tangled, Treasure Planet) is producing the Walt Disney Animation Studios production and John Lasseter is executive producing the project. Jackman has previously scored the last Winnie the Pooh movie for Hall and Disney and also composed the music for the studio’s animated hit Wreck-It-Ralph, for which he received an Annie Award. The composer also recently scored his first film for Marvel, Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Big Hero 6 is set to be released on November 7, 2014 by Walt Disney Pictures. That's cool! Henry Jackman is a good composer and I think this is right up his alley.

From what I remember about her, she had a youthful, but serious voice. I think she would do well, but I guess it'll depend on the character.

Maya Rudolph has been added to the cast.
“Saturday Night Live” alum Maya Rudolph has signed on to voice one of the lead roles in Disney's upcoming animated movie “Big Hero 6,” TheWrap has learned.
A representative for Disney did not respond to a request for comment.
Don Hall and Chris Williams are co-directing “Big Hero 6,” which has been operating under a cloud of secrecy. Disney hasn't confirmed any voice cast thus far, though the film is slated to hit theaters on November 7.

Perhaps as the mom. She seems too old to be Honey Lemon. Great to finally hear some casting news.

Yeah, it's just fanart, but this reminds me alot of Wreck-It Ralph 2 years ago at this time. There was virtually no fanart of WiR anywhere. Just a few pics here & there. Today, they're are thousands of WiR images. But since Disney won't release any concept art images, this is the best look of what the characters will look like.
