Huh, I wasn't aware they usually gave the DACs midnight releases. I thought it was primarily Pixar and Pirates of the Caribbean. And I'm guessing the biggest reason they didn't do one for Winnie the Pooh is because it was released the same day as the final Harry Potter movie, which was obviously going to dominate the midnight release (two theaters within 15 miles of my house had it playing on every single screen, completely sold out, I was super lucky to get tickets).

Yeah you're definitely right about Pooh vs. Potter. But yeah, in the past few years I've gone to midnight showings of Bolt, Princess and the Frog, and Tangled. And of course all the Pixar films.

They are hard at work on the last three weeks of animation for the feature (obviously there is lighting and other fine things still to come. We're talking animation.) A number of them will be laid off from Diz in the middle of August.

I thought those kind of decisions were made on a theater to theater basis? Some will do it some won't.

Me and my buddies are trying to start an internet meme with Wreck-it-Ralph. Basically you put a hot chick - it can be anyone - in-front of an image of Ralph and you have his catch phrase written above “I’m gonna wreck it!

I would post some examples here but I’m not sure if I can.

Besides Vanellope saying "Your no from around here" this is basically the same trailer from June 6th!

Anyone else think "Why are your hands so freakishly big" getting as annoying as " Feast your eyes"? Can Vanellope PLEASE say something else?!
