A month back I went to NY for the first time and while I would not count the NBC News DVD-R of me intro-ing the news I did get a souvenir DVD at the Empire State Building that is sort of a 'hooray for all of New York' type video even though the title is The Empire State Building Experience.
Today I received a package from Disney Movie Rewards that was The Horse Without a Head on DVD.
Had a little extra money come in, so I (finally) picked up:
Kill Bill Volume 1/Kill Bill Volume 2: Blu-ray - $14.99 at Target
This is the first time I've ever owned either film. I waited way too long for Tarantino to release The Whole Bloody Affair, and I got sick of waiting. Who knows how much longer it'll take for that to show up...if it ever does.
Bought too many recently due to Father's Day sales racks at Walmart and good deals at Real Canadian Superstore.
New releases:
Ghost Rider came with $10 to see Spider-man, so I thought that was ok.
Older releases:
$10 @ Walmart
$10 @ Walmart
$5 @ Walmart
$10 apiece @ Walmart
$10 @ Walmart
$12.99 @ Walmart
$14.99 @ Walmart
$6.99 @ Future Shop
$17.99 @ Best Buy
$16.99 @ Future Shop - was waiting for it to drop in price, finally did.
$19.99 @ Future Shop
$9.99 each @ The Real Canadian Superstore
Want to hold-off on buying much now with all the Disney DACs and live-action flicks coming out in the next bunch of weeks, starting next week with Newsies!
My family went to the US for an early Father's Day dinner at Outback (as my dad will be taking me to Toronto tomorrow afternoon for an Exam for school) and we stopped at a mall and a Target afterwards. I ended up picking up:
You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown: Remastered Deluxe Edition (DVD)
Sister Act/Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit - 20th Anniversary 2 Movie Collection Blu-ray/DVD Combo - $12.99 at Best Buy
Evita: 15th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray - $12.99 at Amazon
Newsies: 20th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray - $17.96 at Amazon ( I know Best Buy has this lower at $12.99, but I had a pre-order fully paid by gift cards and it already shipped as I waited for a price drop. I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it to Amazon, especially since it was paid by gift cards, so I won't...it's a shame Amazon didn't match this price and give back the difference)

Better than Canada at least here the price at Best Buy is $25.
