Newbie here. Is there any chance that So Dear To My Heart will become available on Disney Movie Rewards? Do these exclusive DVDs usually come out in both clubs at the same time or is it more usual that stuff like this is only on Disney Movie Club?

Can anybody tell that I find DVD selections at Disney Movie Rewards a bit underwhelming?

It's available now, and for just 550 points. :D Sadly, I'm 535 points short on being able to get it, but I'm sure I'll get there in no time. :D

Once in while you'll get bonuses. I've already got "So Dear to My Heart" and I just got the Bolt bobblehead for 750 points and still have 1275 points.

Great news!!! DisneyShopping.com has made a deal with Disney Movie Club to carry certain Disney DVD titles that have never been in stores (after an exclusive window with the Club) with no membership strings attached!!! So we can get single copies without a Movie Club subscription or paying scalper prices in the secondary market!

Their first offerings as of today:

"So Dear to My Heart"

http://disneyshopping.go.com/disney/sto ... -Heart-DVD

"The Monkey's Uncle"

http://disneyshopping.go.com/disney/sto ... -Uncle-DVD

and "Zorro" Season 1 Box Set

http://disneyshopping.go.com/disney/sto ... 5-Disc-DVD

These are the same versions as the Disney Movie Club ("Zorro" is colorized, but at least available) and I'm sure they'll carry more titles if these do well. This may be a way we film buffs finally get easy access to more Walt era titles.

Does anyone know if the artwork for the So Dear To My Heart DVD shown at DisneyShopping.com is truly the artwork one receives when ordering or is it like the yellow colored Wonderful World of Disney-type artwork from the Disney Movie Club?

It should be the same artwork that you get through the DMC. The artwork on Disney Shopping is often wrong. The So Dear To My Heart artwork they show is what was originally planned for its Gold Collection release. Zorro shows the French version of the cover, since the show is 50 years old, but it says "45th Anniversary Edition."

They corrected the covers posted on DisneyShopping - - all three titles are the yellow-banded DMC versions.
