That is awesome! I love Zooey's voice. It's so original. And I agree with PatrickvD, she is definitely like human sunshine.

Sold. Even though I was going to see this movie no matter what, even if I don't get to see her adorable face/eyes/other lady parts, freaking sold.

Yes! Zooey Deschanel is awesome, so great choice. :-)

Oh and they just posted on Facebook that "Eeyore will be premiering the trailer for the new Winnie the Pooh movie tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. PST on his Facebook page!" :)

I'm assuming Bud Lucky will be doing the voice of Eeyore.

He has that kind of voice.

I adore Zooey Deschanel, so I approve of her inclusion, especially when it's a rendition of one of my favorite Disney songs. Do you guys think her song will be for the end credits or will Disney use her for the opening storybook intro*? I can see it working either way, though for the sake of continuity, I'd like it if a chorus sang the opening while she sang the closing.

I'm glad they picked tomorrow to debut the trailer as I have the day off and can therefore catch it when it goes live. I'm looking forward to it!

* And I'm still wondering what they're going to go about Tigger's non-existence in the theme song.

Tony® Award-winning songwriter Bobby Lopez, and his wife Kristen, wrote the seven spirited new songs for Pooh and his pals, including “A Pooh Bear Takes Care of His Tummy,” “A Very Important Thing To Do,” “Everything Is Honey” and “The Winner Song.” Lopez is composer on several episodes of “The Wonder Pets,” which earned a Daytime Emmy® in 2006 for Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition.

It does say she is singing a NEW version. Does that just mean new because she is singing it or new as in re-written?

Owl sounds weird :|

I'm worried about how the Tom Kenny Rabbit will sound or the John Cleese narration.

The animation looks absolutely beautiful. It really does look like the classic shorts.

Yeah, Owl definitely sounds weird. As does Christopher Robin. I don't think John Cleese will be terrible, but he'll definitely be different.

It bugs me that they've changed Christopher Robin's character design. He actually looks younger from his original incarnation although it should have been the opposite. I didn't mind the clothes changing because it made sense since it's his school uniform but a whole new (and to me worse) character design? Major let down.

Also, I find that Owl, Christopher Robin, and Eeyore sound very different and weird.

I guess the title will remain as just "Winnie the Pooh". There goes the "The Further Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" title rumor.

By the way, does anyone know what's the song that's featured in the trailer?
