Me: Don't be fooled by a new cover. It is the same Bluray release of Fox and the Hound like before with almost zero bonus features and a direct to video sequel! Look!

The Disney Collector in me: But it has adult Tod and Cooper on the cover. I must have it! :D

Word. It's almost as seeing sights. But I guess that's rather fair, due to how Bambi is mostly marketed as a fawn.

And in Spain we're still waiting to get The Great Mouse Detective, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Winnie Pooh... Not to mention The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad.

As for The Black Cauldron we can all assume at this point that it'll only be released when the first live action movie gets released.

Same thing for Sweden, except for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977) and Winnie the Pooh (2011) which were released here on Blu-ray in 2012 and 2013. Winnie the Pooh is really popular in Sweden according to Disney, how I don't know. :)
We also have the Tigger Movie on Blu-Ray.

Here’s hoping 2018 is more exciting than 2017 for Disney Blu-rays. I don’t want another year of boring rehashes in shiny new covers mostly limited to DMC.

Anything new on this re-release? Or is it just that a re-release?

If Disney does this now... What will they do when Frozen 2 is on theaters?

That cover is gorgeous. Imagine how nice it will look all embossed, and shinny and holographic.

But why they don't release a proper special edition on Blu-ray is beyond me. It's one of their most popular animated movies, and it is one of the worst Blu-rays they released.

Agree! Worst "Making of" ever.

Seeing this makes me unbelievably angry, mainly because the live action Maleficent is bundled in with that and doesn't deserve to be there because I think it's a crap representation of the Sleeping Beauty story. :x

When Frozen 2 is released this will get a wide re-release and the insert underneath will match the slipcover

Maybe you already know this but, though it hasn’t been released in Spain yet, the UK combo pack for The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad and Fun and Fancy Free has the Spanish dubbing. I bought it two years ago and, apart from these two classics, it also contains the 1941 film The Reluctant Dragon.

Anyway, I hope it gets released in Spain too. And all the other unreleased features. Make Mine Music, for example, hasn’t even been on DVD yet in our country.

By the way, some time ago, while I was searching the forum looking for something, I saw a post where you asked for information regarding the Spanish Peter Pan Blu-ray. The post was quite old, so I guess you have already found out what you wanted to know. But, in case you haven’t, I have that edition, so maybe I can solve your doubts.

Disney Animation on Blu-ray for 2018

Post by Mickeyfan1990 »

Getting the ball rolling since tomorrow is the new year.

All we know so far is that Coco is scheduled for sometime in March and the Signature Edition of Lady and The Tramp is schedule around that same time (which is also being marketed as a multi-screen edition)

I know. I wish I was DMC member so I could get it. Then I could give the copy of Frozen I have now to my mom.

Gracias D82...

I'm originally from Puerto Rico where there I made the entire Disney collection (aside from 6 till 10 since I don't like them and don't consider Classics). Then I moved to Spain and decided to get them on BD since I'm here. What I like is that they put the number on the spine. Reason why I'm waiting for them to be released.
