Hi. I used the search feature and couldn't find an answer. Why do some of the digital codes I've added to DMR give me access to the movie on Disney Movies Anywhere, while others do not? For example, Aladdin is not available after using the code....but Snow White is.
The reason why I'm asking is that I'm trying to switch my entire collection to digital and sell all of my blu-rays before they're not worth anything anymore. As much as it kills me. I still can't bring myself to list 101 Dalmatians even though it is available on Disney Movies Anywhere for me.
Secondary question - access to Disney Movies Anywhere is for life, right? I've currently got it linked through Amazon.
I apologize if this is already answered somewhere else.

Re: Disney Movies Anywhere question
The only explanation I can think of is if you've redeemed Aladdin on redeemdigitalmovie.com (formally digitalcopyplus.com) on another provider which is not linked to your DMA account, and after that redeemed the points directly on the DMR site. This scenario will add the points to your DMA account and show the movie without the DMA icon next to it, and will not transfer to DMA. Can you remember exactly how and when did you redeem?
Second question - The basic answer is yes, that is how it's being marketed. But nothing is for life, and just like the "Disney Movies Online" streaming service shut down in late 2012, DMA could go away in the future too.
Hope this helps

Re: Disney Movies Anywhere question
Nope, never used the code anywhere except DMR. Original owner of the movies.
Only about half of my collection is available to watch using Disney Movies Anywhere

If this is the case, you should definitely contact DMA. Once they verify you entered the codes on DMR they should push the missing movies to your DMA account.

The reason is some codes do not include a digital copy but only rewards pointskbehm29 wrote:Hi. I used the search feature and couldn't find an answer.
